Outstanding!!

I am not sure I know enough superlatives to adequately describe our stay at Camden Harbour Inn. It is a grand old mansion converted into an inn. It has wonderful harbor views and is a short stroll to downtown shops and restaurants. We spent 3 glorious nights in the New Amsterdam Suite. The suite is quite simply huge with a fireplace in a large sitting room and a separate bedroom (with a king size feather bed) plus a bathroom that is as large as an airplane hanger. The suite has two private porches and large windows that provide excellent views of the mountains and harbor. While the structure is 140+ years old, it has modern and luxurious furnishings. There is a lounge that is filled with jars of old-time candies. If you have a sweet tooth, this space is close to heaven on earth. As impressive as the inn is, it pales in comparison to the staff. They keep the inn spotless and running efficiently. Special shoutouts to Sara, Sam, and Hope. Their attention to detail made it feel as if we were the only guests on the property. Our visit did have one negative and it was a BIG one. We had to leave!!!! 😢 Can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Amazing getaway!

We recently learned that this wonderful property was now affiliated with Hilton Hotels. We had never stayed before and decided to try it out. Upon arrival we we greeted and given an upgrade to a suite and handed a glass of Prosecco. They helped us carry our bags upstairs. Upon entering the room all I can say is wow. The room was so modern and welcoming. 2 fireplaces, a balcony, a soaker jet tub, a sauna, a steam shower. A fridge stocked full of complimentary beverages. A hand written note on the bed with a cute free teddy bear. That night a bag of chocolates with another note was hung on the door as well as a note telling us we could complementarly participate in their Sunday Mother’s Day brunch. We ate at the bar that night and were delighted to see Jake behind the bar. He is always so attentive, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the wonderful brunch and left our place of solace for now. By far one of the best overall stays we’ve ever had. The hospitality here was off the charts. Thank you so much for the great memories. We’ll definitely be back.

Camden Harbor Inn 5 Stars!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We sadly spent only one night at the Camden Harbor Inn, but we’ll be back. We spent a night in Portland, Maine and made an impromptu trip up to Camden. Overall, the service and attention to detail was top notch. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco in a seamless check-in process with Dana. We had a wonderful dinner at Natalie‘s - including a nice bottle of burgundy which Eric helped select for us. The staff was gracious in all interactions including recommendations for things to do in the area and friendly banter. The location is excellent, an easy walk to restaurants and town. We stayed in the Surinam Suite, which include included a steam shower, sauna, bathtub and a fireplace. There is a Spa, however, we did not have enough time to go. The bed were really comfy, too. Thanks Camden Harbor Inn hope to be back soon.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff here is so friendly and accommodating, which always enhances a vacation. The actual accommodations were awesome! I really miss the comfort of that amazing bed and waking up to the beautiful view of the bay. This was the first place that I booked for our Maine vacation and it ended up being our last stop! Could not imagine a better ending. Thank you all so much!
