A Wonderful Anniversary Getaway!
Our stay at the Inn by the Sea was truly unforgettable...as usual! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with peaceful ocean views that make you feel instantly relaxed. Our suite was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt cared for in every moment and loved every minute of our stay. It's a special place and we can't wait to come back.

Two week road trip to the Northeast: pet friendly accommodations required
Wonderful property -- nicely appointed rooms (even heated floor in the bathroom) -- bed linens were wonderful -- staff was pleasant and helpful. The chef even offers a menu for your pet. The room had dog bowl, treats and bedding for our dog :-) We wish we had been told that the kitchen was backed up when we ordered our dinner. We waited an hour for our food to arrive at the table. This was our first stay at the Inn. It seems that many other guests routinely visit the Inn -- we sort of felt like outsiders. The repeat guests like to bend the rules, such as, keeping your pet on a leash but I guess that's to be expected. We definitely recommend the Inn at the Sea. Enjoy!!

Amazing facility and service!
Quick trip to Maine and this hotel blew us away. Amazing location, staff, and food was outstanding. Would return to stay here!

Excellent Experience
We had a fantastic experience here! My husband and I were traveling for our anniversary and the location (short drive to Portland and Kennebunkport) was perfect, but we still were on the beach. We enjoyed our coffee every morning overlooking the ocean, but we were still able to travel easily to restaurants and sites. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. The bathroom and shower was luxurious. The bed was super plush and comfortable. Could hear doors opening and closing early in the morning, but overall, very quiet and peaceful.
