French Quarter Inn

Beyond anything you'll ever experience in cleanliness, kindness, hospitality as well as convenience. I've stayed in 5 star hotels for 50 years, and this was the best experience I've ever experienced. Every single staff member is courteous, pleasant, helpful and has a warm word. The delicious breakfast buffet is phenomenal, and the charcuterie and wine offerings daily are impressive. I would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at he French Quarter for 4 nights. The room was immaculate and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The lobby staff, Samantha and Kimberly were amazing providing suggestions for dinner and outings. The breakfast was far above continental - absolutely delicious and fresh every morning. Complimentary wine & cheese selection every evening was amazing. Choices and choices for everyone. The daily room cleaning service never failed to impress us. Do we sound very satisfied? YES YES YES I would stay at the French Quarter again in a heart beat!!

This has to be the best Inn I have ever stayed at! The staff were so professional, helpful and strive to please! The amenities were over the top, healthy, continental breakfasts, champagne, wine/cheese, great snacks, and convenient to much activities ! Personnel at French Quarter Inn are special people, very welcoming and helpful, especially Linda and Kevin. Very large rooms with exceptional bed linens. Charming terrace and cute bar. Amazing breakfast, wine and cheese at 5:30 pm, and cookies and milk before bed INCLUDED!

Our first trip to Charleston so picked this hotel based on reviews and location. It met all our expectations but has some flaws. Positives- As others have stated the daily breakfast and happy hour snacks are very convenient. All day coffee, tea, water is super. Great location. Friendly staff. New fitness center, we used it daily and fantastic- they have two pelotons, free weight set and many accessories. Everything is new. Flaws- Minus the fitness center, the hotel as a whole can use a face lift in several spots, the street level entry is not very grand and pretty dirty. We were pretty disappointed with the bed, just on the verge of worn out. Rest of room was nice. Note that there isn't really a bar to hang out at and be social. The bar is only used to deliver happy hour drinks. They should reconsider. My wife and I got back after dinner and pretty bummed couldn't sit and have a night cap. Overall, would say very solid choice but on verge of not being 4 stars.
