In addition to being a beautiful hotel, the exemplary customer service exceeded expectations. Gives new meaning to the phrase “it’s the little things that count”!

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Great staff, breakfast was enjoyable, wine and cheese served at 5:30 PM everyday was great. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

My now husband and I snuck away for a quick little trip before our wedding to get away and finalize some wedding plans. We had one of the most memorable trips. We love visiting Charleston but this was our first time staying at the French Quarter Inn. I was blown away by this hotel. From the spacious rooms, private balcony, gorgeous common areas (French patio garden) to the staff, everything was FANTASTIC. The complimentary breakfast, wine & cheese and then Port & cookies throughout the night in such a spacious but cozy lobby was also a nice touch. We can not wait to visit again and have suggested this hotel to all our friends and family. Whether it's a quick getaway or special occasion, this hotel does not disappoint!

We had the most wonderful stay at the FQI over the Independence Day holiday. The hotel is superb-everything was incredibly beautiful, designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The staff was friendly, the beds comfortable, the complimentary breakfast of very high quality. I felt like the hotel represented Charleston in all its beauty and charm. They paid attention to every detail. This will be our go-to place for any future stays in this wonderful town.

In planning our overnight in Charleston, we wanted to stay in an older area where we could walk to dinner. We settled on the French Quarter Inn one street away from the City Market and It was perfect. I checked rates on the web site and found a great deal where parking was included (trust me parking is difficult on your own ), the room rate was discounted and we received a gift card for a meal. From the moment we pulled in to register the staff did all that they could to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. The valet unloaded the car and took our bags to the room while we checked in. We were offered a glass of champagne upon checking in. The key card folder had the wifi info. Life at the inn centers on the first floor . Breakfast and afternoon wine and appetizers are offered there. There is comfortable seating as well. There is also a small bar. Children have a candy bar near check - in A patio is located on this level. The amenities included were far beyond what we have encountered elsewhere. Our room was one floor up. It was adequately sized , elegant in decor, and immaculate. Every comfort was offered from a pillow menu, robes, refrigerator, white noise machine, etc. Our room overlooked Lindau St. And a church. After changing for dinner we went down to the wine and appetizers. There were half a dozen varietals offered from a nice group of mid-range wines. The appetizers were of excellent quality and included a variety of cheese and crackers, meats, pickled veggies and olives, and spreads. This goes on from 5:30 to 6:30 and is FREE. Upon on return from dinner cookies and beverages were available, again FREE. The room was perfectly quiet at night. The drapes are very thick cutting out both noise and light. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast is available from 6:30 to 10:30 and offers something for everyone. There was smoked salmon as well as a sweet and a savory hot dish. Our one night was a magical experience at one of the nicest places I have stayed.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
