Reviews for French Quarter Inn

Perfect stay in a beautiful location

We LOVED our stay at the French Quarter Inn! Bob, at the front desk, is amazing! He was patient with us and made us feel very welcome. The valet service was also amazing! The charcuterie in the evening was so good. We only wish we would have stayed more than one night. Everything was perfect!

Wonderful stay at the French Quarter Inn

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We had a great stay at the French Quarter Inn. The Inn is in an excellent location so we were able to walk all over Charleston. The local market and restaurants are in close proximity to the Inn. The Inn itself is charming. From the spiral staircase to the first floor reception - all very southern! We stayed in a deluxe king room overlooking St. Philip's church. It was a beautiful room - well appointed. The bathroom was large which is always nice. The breakfast and evening happy hour were excellent, not to mention late night cookies. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were offered a walking tour by the hotel with a certified guide (Skip Evans). We would highly recommend staying here -- wonderful Inn!

Amazing Location, Equally Amazing Service!

I mean what an amazing hotel, southern hospitality at its finest! I got there a little earlier than I anticipated my room was ready! The room was clean and had a beautiful view. You have a pillow menu if you want different pillows. They have a wine/snack time in the early evening and then cookies and milk in the evening. You get a choice of in room breakfast or going to the lobby. They have candies and free drinks (ice water and lemonade) available all the time. Its right in the middle of everything close to market St, East Bay street and not a crazy walk to King Street (for the best shopping!) if you walk through the American Gardens. I could go on and on, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Charleston! Thank you French Quarter Inn for a fantastic stay!

Totally Awesome Hotel!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My husband and I went to Charleston to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at The French Quarter Inn. The hotel was just beautiful. We were met when we checked in by an amazing woman named Kim. She not only got us settled in but had all kinds of recommendations for us. There is always coffee and tea in the lobby as well as jars full of jelly beans and candy. We went up to our room. We booked a beautiful king room with a balcony. It was super nice and we enjoyed our coffee in the morning out there. Our room was kept immaculate. They knew it was my birthday and bought up a fabulous cake and champagne. Every need we had was met with perfection and a smile. A hot buffet breakfast is served every morning, wine and cheese and snacks late afternoon and milk and cookies at bedtime. They also have bikes at tour disposal. For a gracious stay in a beautiful hotel that is centrally located, I highly recommend The French Quarter Inn.

PERFECTION in Charleston

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

French Quarter Inn left nothing to be desired during our four night stay! We enjoyed It’s convenient location-within steps to City Market and walking distance to high-end shopping, activities and fine dining, (we never retrieved our vehicle from valet). Our Deluxe Terrace Suite with a fabulous private balcony overlooking city market was a great place to relax after a day enjoying Charleston, not to mention our lovely, spacious room with fireplace and marble bathroom. Fine hotel amenities include daily free canned drinking water, NOT micro plastic bottled water, and S.Pellegrino. A complimentary delicious gourmet Breakfast, served in-room (if desired), included freshly baked croissants and fresh fruit. A complimentary charcuterie hour with red and white wine-WAY more than just a board-an elegant display with gourmet crackers and bread sticks, pickles, olives, assorted spiced nuts, salamis, prosciutto, and of course, many different soft and hard cheeses. THANK YOU French Quarter Inn-your friendly and attentive staff made our stay just PERFECTION!!!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
