Good pre or post flight option

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This is a good option for a stay the night before or after a flight. The grounds are lush and beautiful, offering a charming alternative to a typical city or airport hotel. While the facilities are somewhat dated, the property exudes the character and artistic flair of its owners, showcased through the unique architecture and eclectic artworks. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and carry a certain 1980s glamour. We especially enjoyed the tour of the coffee plantation and the coffee cupping experience. You can genuinely feel the owners’ love and passion for this place — it’s a privilege to get a glimpse into the world they have created here. Although we didn’t enjoy the food as much as some other reviewers, the service was excellent.

Amazing stay at Hotel Finca Rosa Blanca

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Absolutely incredible experience staying at Hotel Finca Rosa Blanca for 3 nights in mid-April! From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt taken care of. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted with coffee and cookies. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel that day and the food was amazing - a lot of it is grown in the local garden! The next day we had a birdwatching tour and the coffee farm tour with Ulises, do NOT miss these, they were so incredible and he is an extremely knowledgable tour guide!! Finally, the last day I last-minute wanted to visit the spa and they were able to accommodate me. All in all, a truly top-notch customer service and hospitality experience, would absolutely recommend!!

An Absolute Gem…

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

An absolutely beautiful little Gem.. We were lucky enough to stay here on arrival to San Jose , beautifully decorated rooms each completely unique with cute bits & pieces .. as far as I know most with views over San Jose .. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices ,with the most wonderful locally grown coffee (from the hotels own plantation ) , in fact all meals were wonderful along with the cocktails . All the staff were always happy to chat and make sure you had everything you needed The pool area is really special with beautiful plants and flowers surrounding along with. Covered hot tub if the rain decides to make an appearance. The Coffee plantation is a must if you have time , Carlos was so knowledgeable and introduced us to Costa Ricas wonderful nature . If you’re heading to San Jose make sure you visit this delightful hotel even if just for a meal or drink , but a shame if you done stay where , we’ll definitely be back

A real unique gem - fantastic staff in support

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

An award winning hotel by National Geographic we were sad we didn't think to stay longer at. As many likely have, we booked this as a 1 night stay before our return flight home. It's conveniently located only 20 minutes from San Jose airport, but location wise it feels a peaceful dream, away from the hustle and bustle. It's unique decor makes every area feel different, and the fundamental architecture of the building makes the rooms so unique. We liked what we saw of the La Piedra suite, and messaged the hotel in advance stating this, and they were immediate in there response to accommodate. It's a gorgeous room, so individual, with great views and windows. The staff were equally fantastic at the restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner they offered immaculate service, not forgetting the amazing (and complimentary) coffee hour! If you are staying here, the coffee plantation tour is also not to be missed, with an equally great guide. We certainly would stay longer next time - thank you.

Our trip to Costa Rica was especially memorable - Finca Rosa Blanca was beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful interior of Costa Rica. The food was outstanding, and it was wonderful to dine and meet the other people who were staying there. The guest rooms and pool were also very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Finca Rosa Blanca.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was to the magnificent, elegant property called Finca Rosa Blanca. We were given great attention by their lovely staff, enjoyed organic and fresh cuisine by their on-site chef and relaxed on the grounds of an amazingly lush gated property. We were so taken with the experience that we purchased the same trip to return the following year!

We stayed in Costa Rica at Finca Rosa Blanca, and the experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like spa treatments, horseback riding, dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn in May. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated not only as guest of the hotel, but also as a part of the Finca family. Our every need was addressed or taken care of with exemplary service. The room was very clean and the food was absolutely delectable. I plan to visit this resort again and again and again. We had a WONDERFUL time. From now on, I will utilize Luxury Link to make all of my travel arrangements. This visit proved that they recommend only the BEST!
