Ripplecove. This is a must visit hotel.

Just simply enjoy the experience of resting, care and service. This is truly a wonderful hotel. A beautiful location with a staff team who genuinely care about service and also go that little bit extra too. You may have been to other hotels, but if you visit the Ripplecove, you’ll definitely come again.

Wonderful Experience!

Both my boyfriend and I discovered Ripplecove by accident in April, 2024, while visiting a friend in Saint Lambert. We were hoping to book a 2 night get away at another hotel, but unfortunately, their restaurants were under construction and therefore, we decided to try Ripplecove Hotel & Spa. While looking through their website, we booked the Deluxe room, located in the Classic building. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who spoke perfect French and English and made us feel extremely welcome. She led us to our room, which was stunning. The décor was elegant, the bathroom spacious with a large jacuzzi and the room itself was very large with all the amenities accompanying a fireplace, a king sized bed adorned with pristine cotton bedsheets and a balcony facing the lake. We decided later in the day to take a stroll in the hotel and took a quick peak into the library, a gorgeous room with breathtaking views of majestic Lake Massawippi and a quiet place to read a good book or just chill. Later in the evening, we went downstairs to the main bar, which is connected to their fine dining restaurant, Le Riverain. We booked a reservation for lunch the following day and had the most delicious lunch on their indoor terrace - which began with a superb leek soup, swordfish with vegetables and a homemade delicacy of desserts. Absolutely splendid and such elegance. It was extremely quiet this time of year, and there were very few guests. Since we had arrived mid-spring, there were not a lot of outdoor activities, but that didn’t deter us from exploring the area. The outdoor pool was still closed and some light construction went on during the day, and although it was continuously damp and cold outside, that didn’t stop us from taking walks along the dock at sunset, or basking in the hotel’s outdoor sauna and a dip in the hot tub, which faces the opposite side of Lake Massawippi. Outdoor towels were available for guests by the pool, as well as a shower and bathroom which was convenient and easy access. The most memorable part of our stay was that my partner proposed to me under the starlite skies of Ripplecove on our second night, which will forever be a part of my heart. I highly recommend Ripplecove Hotel & Spa and look forward to returning again soon!

Ripplecove is a hidden gem!

I liked this place so much that I set up an account on Tripadvisor to say nice things. We discovered Ripplecove by accident when looking or a place to stay for a couple days for the 2024 solar eclipse, and it exceeded every expectation. Despite them being slammed with a full house for the occasion, their attentive staff made us feel welcome, answered thousands of questions, and brought us wonderful room service in multiple shifts for the main course and dessert. The only drawback was that since this was neither winter nor summer, but mud season, some of the activities on the website weren't available, but there were still plenty of things to do! This was our first stay at Ripplecove, but it won't be our last.

Avoid this hotel !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This is the WORST hotel I ever tried in my life time. Please just avoid this hotel. First of all, the NOISE of the hotel is terribly loud. We heard everything which drove us crazy ever since we checked in. You are almost like sleeping in the LOBBY !! The noise, the music are everywhere. What’s worst is that the bass noise will keep your room vibrating. The wood floor is near BROKEN . Anyone passing by will cause huge NOISE . Besides, the curtains can’t not shed the lights. So basically, after 7, you can’t sleep anymore. If ever you don’t want to sleep, just go to this TERRIBLE hotel! And btw, the front desk receptionist came to our room and heard the noise. She gave us two earplugs. Such a ridiculous thing! No one should expect spending more than 300$ for a night and you still need the EARPLUGS for sleep. We had NO SLEEP last night !!! Definitely won’t comeback to this hotel. It completely RUINED my weekend and my anniversary. Don’t just reply sorry and apologize. DO SOMETHING!🤮
