Superb, superb, superb
We had arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel and that was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival Juli at reception informed us that we had been upgraded and that was a great and welcome surprise. In addition, we were given complimentary cocktails and one hour massages - how can one not be impressed and this was even before we’d left reception to be shown to our suite. It only got better. The hotel is immaculate and has all the amenities that one could possibly require. The views and sunset from the suites, restaurants and bars (and from the main infinity pool by Cascades) are spectacular so it goes without saying the location is superb. We did the complimentary evening sunset tour on the outskirts of the hotel and simply awesome. The gym is fully kitted with Hammerstrength and Lifefitness equipment, boxing equipment, kettlebells, foam rollers etc and has a squash court (we did not use the squash court so cannot comment). A workout in such a gym before breakfast was welcome and the gym was immaculate and had sprays to clean down equipment after use. The hotel arranged a one day excursion and again perfect in all respects. We also used the shuttle service into Ubud and seamless. The hotel has every aspect honed to a fine art. We understand that following recommendations from travellers the hotel has a water filtration system, eco-friendly as well as state of the art. The stand out is the staff - every member of staff without exception was fabulous - easily the most welcoming and earnest and warmest of people - in fact, we were quite sad to leave such beautiful people. The staff we asked had all worked there for several years and a good majority since the hotel opened. Would not hesitate to recommend The Viceroy in a heartbeat - simply perfect. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and if we ever revisit Bali (the distance from the UK being the only barrier) we know where we’ll be staying. Thanks again.

Best resort EVER!
I travel a lot and wouldn’t say this lightly, this is the best resort I ever stayed at. The staff, the food, the property and adjacent business all 10/10. The Cascades Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The staff was always so proactive to make us feel welcome and happy. They have a nicely equipped gym and a spa and fine dining right next door. We stayed at the deluxe villa with a private infinity pool with the view for the forest, all of this to say that if you’re considering a romantic getaway this is the place to be.

The Very Best
The hotel, the incredible view, superb food, excellent facilities including the spa and gym, all hit the right spot. We made good use of the hotel shuttle bus and taxis booked through reception, as well as booking a driver for a half day tour of some must see sights. Above everything, for us was the warmth and helpfulness of every single member of staff. The best we've ever experienced, and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

we will return to Viceroy Bali
The visit to Viceroy Bali was spectacular. The rooms were excellent, very clean, the hospitality of the staff was top-notch, the food was of very good quality, the scenery incredible. The tours with Kadek were the best. He even took me to the island's soccer stadium, Bali United, and we were able to take photos inside the stadium thanks to his management! We loved the visits to the rice terraces. We will return next year! Thank you, Kadek, for your kindness.

A Beautiful Experience
Viceroy Bali is absolutely incredible. The villas are private and luxurious, with plunge pools overlooking the rainforest. We loved the open-air dining at Cascades, cocktails at Pinstripe Bar, and a beautiful dinner at Apéritif ....every detail is so well thought out. The Akoya Spa is a must-visit too. The team were so lovley and made the whole experience feel effortless. A truly special place to stay in Ubud.
