If you want the short version the Eden Roc is amazing and we would definitely love to return. The Eden Roc Punta Cana excels in all three key areas. Rooms, Resort and Service. To start with we had a one bedroom Villa with a private pool. The room was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and Very Clean. The pool was large there were lounge chairs and a great sitting area with a pergola. FYI we were there is May and the pool was nice and warm but the pools are not heated. Our room had a Nespresso Coffeemaker with tea and complimentary bottled water. The resort is Beautiful, the pools are really nice and the beach had the nicest sand I have ever seen. Service from start to finish was great. From the transfer at the airport to check in the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Room service came quickly and our personal Butler? Mia was outstanding and ready to do anything to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Only minor recommendation we would have is nobody came to clean the pool during our stay. Our private pool had beautiful plants and trees around it which means Leaves and flowers wind up in the pool. It would be nice if somebody came by to scoop it out. Overall I would highly recommend the Eden Roc. It is a first class, beautiful well done resort staffed by warm friendly helpful people. We are Kosher Travellers so this is for people interested in the Eden Roc's Kosher options. Let me add a thank you to Mashgiach Abraham who introduced himself the first morning explaining the Kashrus (Chalav Yisroel, Pas Yisroel etc) and he took a real interest to make sure that everything food wise was to our satisfaction and that we were happy. The Eden Roc offers three Kosher options Full Board, Half Board or Al a Carte with what the call a "kitchen fee" I think it is really a Mashgiach Fee. We opted for the a la carte and feel that was the best choice. Breakfast: All the mains we had which were Omlettes, Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, and Waffles were very good the only knock was the Waffle portion was extremely small. Our breakfast came with a delicious fruit plate and some pastries and croissants. (the croissants were much better than the pastries) Lunch: Get the Pizza Margherita which was truly outstanding rivaling what you would find in a gourmet New York restaurant also excellent was the Nicoise Salad, Poke Bowl, Pasta Sorrentina, and Nachos. I would skip the salmon Burger which was ok at best. Dinner: Best was the Slow cooked ribs and the Rib eye steak. Poke Bowl, Chicken Caesar salad and Nachos were again very good. The Burger was OK and the Chicken Milanese and chicken nuggets were inconsistent one night was better than the other. I should mention another nice point; at the bar there is a Kosher smoothie menu and Kosher cocktail menu. Overall the quality of the kosher food was very good. If you have any questions Francesca who heads the kosher service and The Mashgiach were both really nice and accessible.

Outstanding hotel. Great service. Mediterraneo is a top restaurant. The beach is superb as the golf course and the gym. But it is the service that would make us comeback without hesitation. Villas are very comfortable and make you want to stay in the room for the whole trip!

Wow! Eden Roc delivers. My wife and I wanted a quick get-away for four nights. Abby, our host and friend set up all our tee times and massages. He is the best. Speak with him about the membership opportunities which result in enormous savings and enjoyment of everything this lovely resort has to offer. The vibe at the hotel is serene. The beachfront suites are majestic, spacious, well-furnished and appointed. All of the restaurants are terrific in their own right. Our favorite is La Palapa where Chef Ernesto creates amazing dishes with wonderful fishes. My wife is an exceptional cook and we are rarely blown away by restaurant food. Not so at La Palapa. Every meal was fantastic. The staff is welcoming and warm across the board. Clara sets a joyous tone at Blue. The included breakfast has everything imaginable. Lunch on the beach gleefully delivered by the warmth of Hector was a treat. Almeida's massage was fantastic. I highly recommend her for anyone with back issues. If you are a golfer, this place is heavan. Punta Espada is a pristine. It has 7 ocean-front holes. Challenging, but fair. A shout out to our caddy, Jorge who finds ProV1's all over the place. A joyous time was had. Can't wait to get back.
