Consisting solely of unique design suites and villas, Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection offers guests the true Mediterranean experience, connecting luxury to natural environment and local culture.
Minimally interfering with the natural habitat and harmonically blended with their surroundings, the domed structures emerge from the ground, respecting its natural contours and creating a settlement on an amphitheater of flower gardens, stone pathways, and olive groves.

This place is truly awesome. Lots to do and lots of variety… we had our two year old daughter with us and we enjoyed the beach, swimming pool area, core and the joyful stroll across the resort… The staff are amazing and a special mention to Natalia who made our daughter feel so special and bought a smile to her face daily! This place is special in many ways and we’d recommend to anyone. The view tops it all but it just so happens the resort is superb too!

My wife and I stayed at Domes of Elunda in April 2025 for a week and we cannot recommend it enough! The settings are stunning, the facilities are everything you could dream of and the location from Heraklion’a airport is ideal. However, above all, the staff is what makes Domes of Elunda such a welcoming, relaxing and outstanding place to stay. From the minute we arrived, we were met with nothing but kindness, generosity and sincerity. The staff’s warmth, hard work and expertise is something to be admired and it made us feel at home straight away. Our room overlooked the sea and the view was simply breathtaking. We were able to enjoy our hot tub and our terrace without worrying about neighbours being able to see us - the complex is very well thought of to guarantee privacy. Additionally, the hotel remains very calm and quiet in the day and evening alike, which allowed us to really relax. Moreover, we were able to enjoy the hotel’s private beach, which a five-minute walk away. It was stunning and pristinely clean and we were welcome once more by lovely staff members. We also tried the hotel’s spa, which offers a wide selection of treatments - some of which are very unique! Again, the people working at the spa were incredibly kind, warm and professional. On top of all this, we were able to enjoy delicious food every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner alike. We tried both the Blend and the Tholos restaurant. Both offered great quality food (and spicy margaritas made just for us when we asked!) The staff goes above and beyond at every second to make sure you do not go without, while being discreet and giving you your space. Above all, what really struck us is how genuine everyone who works at the hotel is. Every single staff member we have met went above and beyond to meet our every needs (surprising us with nut-free brownies after we tried to order some but realised they had nuts and told them to not worry about it, preparing us complementary food upon arrival because our flight landed late at night, remembering our names…) and did so without a shadow of hypocrisy. On our last night, I was really ill and not only did the staff get me medicine from a pharmacy in the middle of the night, they called the room to keep asking how I was and provided me with everything I needed to feel better. The next day, we needed to wait for our flight for quite a long time after checking out and I was still very weak, so the staff worked hard and provided us with a curtesy room for me to rest for the day. Without this, I would never have been able to fly back! To conclude, from the scenery to the staff, everything was absolutely perfect and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Domes of Elounda this Easter. The rooms were a good size for a family of four and I would recommend getting a sea view room for the most amazing views. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. For us being vegetarians it was lovely the restaurants showed flexibility and made an effort to give us variety. It’s a great place to come with younger children for although there is not much of a beach, the sea is calm for younger children to swim in. They also have a heated pool. We would definitely come back again.

Clearly we didn;t do our homework, this expensive hotel was full of children (during term time!) This meant the breakfast and evening buffet was a bearpit! Not really a problem - this hotel is excellent in terms of accommodation - really high class - and the level of staff competence and friendliness was superlative. Three of the fine dining restaraunts were very good but the street food evening was very poor, in terms of both menu selection and the food itself. The private beach is good and the guy with the boats will run four of you over to Spinalonga for 60 Euros return

Our summary of the trip is that there was always some sort of issue. Similar to another review I've read from the same period, given that we arrived on day 2 of the season, I don't want this to take from what an incredible resort this is. The staff were as helpful as they could be. Any issues would be more down to lack of staff/limited training. Special mention to Chara and Axis in Blend who were always so helpful and patient with the children. The Kids Club was one of the best I've come across. The minders really cared for the children and mine were skipping in there each day. Food was to a high quality with plenty of variety in the buffets. We were on half board and would question the approach to dine around 'credits' when working off the a la carte menu. We didn't avail of the Core BBQ as 45e for a 1.5 year old seemed ridiculous to us. Also, an average wait time of 45 minutes for food in restaurants cannot continue in a family-centric resort. Short walk to Plaka and longer to Elounda was great on cloudier mornings. A trip to Spinalonga is a must! If you're looking for a luxury family friendly resort this is the place for you!
