Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, Maldives

We went to Coco Palm in 2022 with friends. We were delayed going due to Covid so instead of spending our 50th birthdays we spent out 52nd. We had the most amazing time and the staff were extremely attentive as well as the local nurse/doctor who was amazing too. Very attentive. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and very kind as well as the most attentive as well as fun, staff. We are looking forward to returning to Coco Palm arriving Sunday 4th May 2025 to the comfort and warm welcomes where again we meet our friends for a second time on our 55th birthdays. Look forward to seeing you in a few days time and so excited. 😆

What can I say this visit was just like going home again with a bit extra,we arrived at the airport and got a private transfer to the seaplane terminal,that was the start.When we arrived at Coco we were greeted by the team then escorted to our room No4.We had been upgraded to this amazing room plunge pool,extra seating outside the room itself was lovely extra seating bottle of fizz New bathroom area plus we were also given a free massage. It is an amazing place nothing is too much trouble for them,food is excellent the all inclusive is certainly good and if you want a 2nd glass of wine with your dinner or a 3rd or 4th you just have to ask. All in all it was another amazing holiday we hope to return in 2 years and we are already counting down till then. We'll here we go again don't know why the above review was not published probably I didn't press the finish button the review was from Oct23 and we are going back the 1st of May can't wait!!!!!

Sono appena tornato da una splendida vacanza alle Maldive, trascorsa con mia moglie, per festeggiare il mio sessantesimo compleanno. Siamo stati ospiti di questo splendido villaggio ,in stile maldiviano, privo di animazione, dove la pace regna sovrana, immerso in una natura lussureggiante e,quasi senza cemento. Circondato da spiagge bianchissime, che, essendo coralline, non scottano nemmeno col sole allo zenit; che meraviglia poter passeggiare a piedi nudi senza scottarsi a tutte le ore del giorno! Acque cristalline ricche di pesci fino a riva, che fanno compagnia ai bagnanti per quasi tutto il giorno. Ma veniamo al resort. Le ville che compongono questa struttura sono di diverse tipologie ed accontentano un po' tutti.Chi ama stare sulla spiaggia può scegliere una beach o una sunset ,mentre chi vuole stare sull'acqua sceglie una lagoon. Noi siamo stati sia nella sunset che nella lagoon: bella la sunset, meravigliosa la lagoon con piscina privata, discesa in acqua e vista tramonto: da sogno. Le ville che sono tutte molto spaziose e complete di ogni comfort, vengono ripulite due volte al giorno da personale gentilissimo e pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problema insorga durante la vacanza. Il ristorante a buffet serve,la mattina, una colazione continentale ricca di ogni pietanza sia dolce che salata, mentre, a pranzo ed a cena, piatti tipici del luogo a base di pesce fresco e carne sapientemente preparato e cotto, non troppo aromatico per soddisfare tutti i gusti. Non mancano serate a tema con piatti particolari e gelato buonissimo servito con frutta fresca a pranzo e a cena. Anche al ristorante personale gentilissimo, dall'accoglienza in sala al servizio al tavolo, delle bevande, alla bravura dei cuochi che preparano il cibo al momento, sempre con il sorriso sul volto, evitando inutili sprechi e servendolo al piatto, caldo, appena cotto: verdure saltate e scottate appena, pesce e carne grigliata al momento, e per i piccoli c'è sempre anche la pasta al pomodoro o con varie salse; insalate ed ortaggi, condimenti di ogni tipo e finanche un'intera forma di grana padano con attrezzo per staccarne pezzi. Anche il pane, sfornato fresco tutti i giorni è buonissimo. E' possibile anche organizzare una cena romantica ,a pagamento, in riva al mare sotto un cielo stellato da favola, con crostacei, aragosta maldiviana e vino bianco :una goduria. Il resort organizza diverse escursioni a cui non abbiamo partecipato, per nostra scelta, ma sicuramente interessanti dal punto di vista naturalistico. Per finire, un ringraziamento particolare a tutto il personale per la gentilezza e comprensione avuta nei nostri confronti. RESORT CONSIGLIATISSIMO. Alfredo e Francesca aprile 2025

Nous étions logés en beach villa au sud, proche des water villas, avec accès direct à la plage. Le logement était grand, avec la salle de bain divisée en deux parties : lavabo à l'intérieur, douche et WC en extérieur. La nourriture était excellente et le service irréprochable. Côté plongée (avec Coco dive), les sites sont tout simplement exceptionnels, parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons vus, depuis que nous fréquentons les Maldives. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir presque une semaine de plongées "privées", vu le peu d'affluence ! Et cerise sur le gateau, 5 raies Manta lors de nos dernières plongées. Un grand Bravo et Merci à Harsha, Marco et Miriam pour leur aide.

I hasten to share with you, my dear reader, my impressions of my stay, almost two and a half weeks, in this paradise (without irony): from 03/26/2025 to 04/11/2025. Objectively understanding that people have different mentalities, I still will not succumb to the temptation to please everyone, but will stick to my style: this will be a panegyric-hosanna. Firstly, I would like to dwell on the impeccable work of the hotel management, headed by Mr. Naswan and his "right hand" Mrs. Njiba. All issues related to my stay at the hotel were resolved quickly and impeccably. As an example, I would like to tell you about one incident, but it was not connected with the excellent hotel team, it was connected with the "tricks" of selfish guests - smokers, who allowed themselves to smoke right in the "thickness" of the bar visitors and so on... I had a private conversation with Mr. Naswan and was very surprised that he apologized for the guests - smokers and at the same time offered a compensation - a private romantic dinner on the sand spit! Then he asked when my birthday was, and when I said that it would be in the very near future (actually, this is why we came here), he kindly offered to organize an individual fishing tour, which I took advantage of. But success is always the brainchild of the whole team, so a little about other aspects of my vacation. Food and service during meals are also an important aspect of the vacation. Therefore, I would like to separately dwell on the service in the restaurant. Of course, the choice of dishes was not abundant, but the quality of the dishes served was worthy of the laconicism of the "Michelin" restaurants. Unfortunately, I did not remember all the employees - cooks, but I would like to separately note the professionalism and politeness of the cooks serving the egg and omelette department (he has been working in the restaurant kitchen for 11 years), as well as the girl working in the grilled food department. The work of the waiters was also impeccable; I would like to separately note the waiter, but I do not remember his name exactly: something like - Sherkhan: polite, kind and efficient. Now a little about the housing. Although some villas were in the style of "seen the light" (but I want to immediately note that the island is undergoing reconstruction of the villas), the cleanliness and cleaning of the villas by the staff deserves my approval. Here I would like to thank our cleaning specialist (I was staying in room thirty-two), but unfortunately I don’t remember his name either. I would like to dedicate a separate part of my “hosanna” to the hotel to the sea turtle rehabilitation center. This is a unique sea turtle rehabilitation center in the Maldives, where turtles that have gotten into trouble undergo a rehabilitation course, usually turtles without any limbs. Some turtles will be lucky: they will be rehabilitated and released into the wild, but others, unfortunately, will remain disabled for life and will have to be under the caring care of the amazing workers of this rehabilitation center. At the rehabilitation center, you will be offered to join the “Hatching” group in the WhatsApp messenger, through which you will be informed about all the current work of the center, for example, the time and place of turtles leaving their nests... I would like to wish the center’s employees success in their difficult, but so important for all of us work! Here I will probably finish my simple story about my vacation at the hotel. I wish all the employees of the island hotel success in their difficult work and good health, and to you, dear guests (except smokers), to have a good rest and gain strength.
