Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

Visited Barcelona for 4 days and this hotel was centrally located and was had an excellent staff, everyone friendly, and rooms were beautiful and comfortable! Fantastic roof top with great views and food/cocktails, and provided blankets on chilly nights! Such a nice touch! Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at this hotel after a transatlantic cruise and really enjoyed my three nights stay. This hotel is old but has a lot of rich history and it’s very well maintained. The service is unmatched. The quality of my room and the amenities were just lovely. It was a wonderful respite after a long day of exploring the beautiful city of Barcelona. This hotel is very centrally located and in a great area. I was able to walk to pretty much all of the places that I visited except a couple. But this hotel makes everything seamless. The staff are top-notch and they help out with anything that you need including helping you arrange a taxi for the airport after you check out. This is a true five star hotel, and I will definitely return when I am in Barcelona again and will recommend this hotel to others.

Lovely hotel - but it simply did not occur to us that, for over 600Euros per night plus breakfast, we would be allocated a small windowless room in the hotel’s interior. They should be embarrassed to have it, except perhaps as a full-back space for children travelling with their parents.

This was a repeat stay and I would come back again and again. Location on Paseo di Gracia is unbeatable, staff is super friendly and helpful plus the rooftop is amazing. The rooms are immaculately decorated and beds and pillows guarantee the perfect sleep!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic two-night stay at the Majestic Hotel & Spa in a Privilege Room, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable — right on Passeig de Gràcia, steps from Casa Batlló and surrounded by some of the best shopping and iconic sights in Barcelona. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Their hospitality set the tone for a wonderful visit. The hotel itself is stunning, blending historic elegance with modern luxury. Our room was spacious and very comfortable for a historic property, with plush bedding, luxurious linens, and a beautifully appointed bathroom with excellent amenities and a signature scent we loved. During our stay, Barcelona experienced a rare citywide power outage. While electricity was restored fairly quickly, hot water took longer to return. Despite the situation being beyond their control, the Majestic team handled everything with true professionalism — checking on guests, assisting with luggage, and making sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. Their response turned a challenging situation into a testament to the hotel’s outstanding service. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, offering breathtaking views of Passeig de Gràcia and the Barcelona skyline, including the Sagrada Família. We also loved the elegant lobby bar, a perfect place for evening drinks and light bites with excellent service. Breakfast at the Majestic deserves special mention — the extensive sweet and savory selections, the made-to-order dishes like eggs Benedict, and the attentive service all made it one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious stay with exceptional service and a prime location, the Majestic Hotel & Spa is the perfect choice. We look forward to returning and will absolutely recommend the Majestic to anyone visiting Barcelona!
