Spring Getaway with Family
Friendly staff, good food, great location but way too pricey for the quality of the rooms. Carpets, couches and chairs had horrible stains which made me feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the room. Hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk everywhere. We were happy breakfast was included in our package.

Wonderful friendly staff. Spacious amenity laden rooms. Warm/hot showers. Nice towels, comfortable beds. Fast service. Excellent room service! Right in the middle of everything. Staff goes out of their way to remember your name and try to help. Highly recommend staying here!

A Wonderful Tine!
When we first walked into the door everyone greeted us with such a warm and welcoming smile . Will, the manager, took excellent care of us , and helped get us situated into our beautiful quaint historic room . We especially enjoyed meeting and talking with Cody . He took time to get to know us , and was so helpful everyone we we saw him. We wish him ,and his fiancé much happiness! Price and Mike were also so helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Spring trip in Charleston
Planter's Inn was lovely! The room was beautiful and comfy. I did try a piece of the infamous coconut cake and found it to be the best coconut cake I have ever had....and I love coconut cake so that is saying a lot. The hotel is also perfectly located in the center of downtown Charleston... a big plus! Shout outs to Kelsey at the front desk on Sunday and May 4. She was sweet and friendly and truly welcomed us! That is definitely plus! Also thought the bellman, whose name I didn't get, a burly bearded young guy was super nice and friendly as well! Two negatives that Planter's should work on. The bartender, Bradley, was lovely but the drinks were just so so and very overpriced. And the breakfast that we had in the restaurant, we ate on the outside patio, was barely mediocre...for such a nice hotel everywhere else I expected a stellar food experience and it was the equivalent of any diner. Super disappointed in quality and cost.

Beautiful downtown Charleston location. The room and bed was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Don't miss breakfast it is off the charts delicious. Take a bike cab and support the local college students, they are great! Visit 167 Raw Bar and Fleet Landing...great casual choices, excellent food.
