Park Hyatt Chicago

The place was luxurious and thank you so much Casey at the concierge for making this stay truly special!! However, I would like to point out a small incident that really made me not feel like a valued guest. I was not aware of that the tips were included in the bill for breakfast as part of the GOH/globalist benefits so I paid extra for the tips. I inquired with the front desk and noticed that on the check the tips part was not explicitly written out (it’s written as something like package svc ) and I was not told by the host/waiters either. I was fine with tipping more but felt like this was somewhat predatory so I mentioned it to the front desk lady that maybe they could improve on this by making it more explicit so that people would be aware of it. The front lady instead told me that all the luxurious hotels and Hyatt hotels do this in a somewhat condescending tone. Well.. thanks for telling me that I am dumb I guess? I was just simply trying to give some feedback on this However, it was the only negative (but very negative) thing I experienced. I would have given it a 5 star if this incident had not happened.

Hyatt Park Chicago was a great experience! The room has great modern features and comes with a mini bar. Most importantly, it was clean! The hotel has great amenities such as a gym, pool, hot tub and steam room. The hotel staff was very friendly! I highly recommend it!

Great hotel and staff. Checked out this morning, April 21. Stayed in room 404. Left a small container that had all my charging cords —-phone, tablet, watch and kindle. Called hotel. They called back and said they could not find anything. A bit disappointing. Since it was definitely left behind. It’s our favorite place to stay! Cannot say enough good things about the staff! We have been going there for years and will continue to return.

Great service, fantastic food and cocktails. Staff very attentive, kind and with warm service. Hotel quick to honor requests and were all very welcoming to us during our stay. Location was also wonderful with alot of places within walking distance

Truly a five star experience. Exceptional service of friendly staff. Valet parking with in and out privileges is worth the cost. Recently upgraded room is modern in decor and technology, with the highest quality materials used, most comfortable beds, and fantastic bathroom. We had room on a third floor, loved having terrace with a view of Water Tower. Our new favorite hotel in Chicago.
