Villa le Blanc, a Gran Melia Hotel

Our stay in Villa Le Blanc Gran Meliá was exceptional in every way. From the beginning to the end of our stay we were looked after by the incredible team there (the best hospitality we have encountered in Europe without a doubt). They were always kind and courteous and went above and beyond to make our stay there unforgettably magical. The whole team as I said were amazing but special mention to Carlos in Sao for being so attentive and friendly, Karen at breakfast for always checking in with a smile to make sure we had everything we needed and Edixon who delivered our room service with a lot of kindness and care. The hotel itself is stunning and the design and deco is so well thought out. The spa is just what we needed and the treatments by Elle and Nina were divine. This is my third time staying at the Villa Le Blanc and each time has been consistently excellent. The staff are hugely welcoming, very helpful and it is nice to see the same familiar faces there each time I go. Carlos is always on the finest form and extremely kind, Carmen is extremely attentive and ensures that everything is running smoothly. The food is first class and the beds ensure a deep sleep. I will be back again soon.

Wonderful location, room (Junior Suite for us) and staff across the board, who are very attentive and work so hard to keep the gardens, pools, rooms and buildings in great shape and provide the best experience in the bars and restaurants. Special mention to Ruben for the most enjoyable wine tasting experience. And thanks to the ladies who did such an amazing job turning our room every day, we really appreciated it.

Great location, room was superb with the sea only feet away, and a private Infiniti plunge pool on our balcony. The staff could not have been more helpful and polite. The food was always excellent and the the bar areas were never crowded playing chilled low key music as we watched the sunsets most night, we will return.

Check in fast and efficient, our room was really nice, although i do prefer a separate bathroom, not much privacy while taking a shower or bath. But thats personal choice, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Every mortal thing provided even a steamer for your crumpled clothes. And most of all spotlessly clean. The restaurant prices and bar food is high end, we ate out though most evenings some very nice local places around the hotel. Only slight negative was breakfast it was a bit nippy even sat inside so the food went cold quickly, also it was a little bit confusing as to which server did what? The first morning we ended up with lots of drinks and no food … sorted it out by the second day as we got there earlier when the staff were not as busy. The sun beds are so comfortable lots of towels provided, and always plenty to choose from around the pool or in the garden areas. All the staff were excellent friendly and happy to help. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
