Six Senses Con Dao

We just returned from an unforgettable 2-night stay at Six Senses Con Dao, and I couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in serene natural beauty, impeccable service, and thoughtful touches that made our vacation truly special. A huge thank you to Hau, our dedicated GEM (butler), who took such great care of us, always one step ahead with kind suggestions and warm service. We also had the chance to join a sustainability tour led by Chau, who not only educated us but also inspired both me and my daughter with stories of the resort’s conservation efforts and eco-friendly practices. It's rare to find a place that delivers luxury while staying committed to sustainability in such a genuine way. The kids club deserves a special mention. My little one absolutely loved it and was constantly asking to go back. It's such a relief as a parent to have a safe, creative space for kids to play and learn while you unwind. The beach is picture-perfect, the villa was spotless, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Every meal we had was delicious, but the breakfast truly stood out - fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented. A highlight of our stay was the outdoor cinema tucked away in the jungle, a magical experience under the stars that we’ll remember for a long time. As a small suggestion, since the resort has activity of recycling used cooking oil to make soap (which is amazing!), it would be wonderful to see this handmade soap used in the villas instead of the current handwashing liquid - bringing the sustainability loop full circle. The most incredible service as always from this beautiful chain of hotels. It doesn’t feel like a chain.. it feels utterly bespoke. They think of everything for you.. even before you’ve thought about it yourself. The complimentary touches are incredible and generous. You feel apart of a family and Tu Our gem was BRILLIANT! Vincent was great at making cocktails and entertaining us with his interesting conversation! And Phuoc was the best massage therapist I’ve ever had! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!!

We stayed at the Six Senses in Con Dao in March 2025. The property lays on a pristine beach, which is wonderful to walk on (it has around 1,5-2 km). The villas, which are on the beach invite one to take a stroll several times a day. Some villas have one floor, some have two. The layout of the villas on one floor is much more practical with the bathroom and bedroom on the same floor. Though there is a small WC on the bedroom floor of the two level villas, the continuous up and down the stairs is a bit tiring. The rooms are quite outdated, but maintained correctly. Some villas have the frames of the doors in aluminium, which makes them appear really outdated and unappealing. Some others are all in wood, which is nice and in tune with the sustainability vibe of the resort. The manager of the hotel kindly suggested us to move to a villa on one floor that had nice wooden frames, which we readily accepted. The food was deliciously healthy with many gluten and lactose free options. In the morning you can order a fresh fish from the market that lands in your plate for dinner. The fragrant and light Vietnamese soup called pho is served at any time of the day. The staff is very gentle and kind and they try to accommodate all tastes and wishes. The reception of the spa was not welcoming at all and the massage was nothing out of the ordinary. They have an infrared sauna but the personnel was confused about how it worked, so we missed on the opportunity of using it. The gym and the spa are both well appointed. Ask your butler to turn on the AC before you go into the gym! The highlight of our stay was our butler Cookie. She was not only very kind and pleasant, but she tried to guess all our desires and come towards us with whatever we needed and wished. She was present but discreet and a pure pleasure to have around. Cookie spoke and wrote very well English, which is not a given in the Vietnamese context. She was always spirited and in a good mood. A very good listener and intelligent, she loved what she did and seemed totally passionate about the industry she is in. Our stay at the Six Senses was definitely enriched by her lovely presence and sense of humor.

The Six Senses Con Dao is the best, luxury, sustainable, eco and spa resort in the world. A beautiful, private, secluded location on the island of Con Dao an hours flight from Ho Chi Minh Airport. The resort is built and set up to be sustainable. The villas are built in traditional Vietnamese style only from locally sourced materials and offer a luxurious stay with private pools and direct access to the beach. There are 3 restaurants offering a great variety of delicious dining options including traditional Vietnamese dishes as well as some Western options. The facilities are superb with a lovely, large spa and meditation area offering yoga, meditation, massage and many other treatments. he is also a excellent gym with all the equipment anyone could need. Best of all is the friendly, efficient and professional service provided by all the staff - from Lakmal the Resort Manager to 'Cookie' our wonderful Guest Experience Maker who was always available at any time to meet all our needs and requirements. All the staff were delightful and made our stay truly wonderful. Thank you Six Senses for the best holiday ever!

Stayed here for 3 nights, and are longing back already! Everything, from pickup at airport to dropoff for out flight home, was so professional, thought-through and authentic. The staff truly wanted us to have the best time ever - which we had! We felt pampered and taken care of all the time. The hotel and villa was wonderfully designed and had a quiet atmosphere, it felt so good to escape from the crows of tourists you can see at other destinations. Food, beverages, beds, sports&activities, the spa...so impressed about the quality of it all.
