On arrival, we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite, a very unexpected and lovely gesture from the hotel team...and the room was grand; beautiful furniture and paintings, so much space and a bed fit for a king and queen with very luxury linens. A large bathroom, walk in wardrobe and separate lounge- just stunning. Quiet too. Breakfast was better after 9am and the conference crowd were out of the way. Acceptable food, not the top of the range quality but this is a large hotel, so what we expected and of a good standard. The massage I had was just amazing. The standard was better than the Corinthia spa in London and a fair price. I would return to this hotel just because of the spa team's professional standards and knowledge of how a massage should be conducted. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and the customer service was of a good standard. The hotel itself was beautiful, all throughout. A great location, easy to get to from the airport on the Airshuttle and also easy to walk into the centre in 40 minutes. We love this hotel and we will be returning as we had a great stay and great memories. We also love Dublin, great place to have a relaxing city break.

Outstanding, efficient and friendly service. Front of house Management and staff are particularly helpful. No request for help is too much. High standard of maintenance in all areas of hotel. Good food in all restaurants. No changes needed.

We stayed at the InterContinental Dublin in the Ballsbridge area. The location was close enough to the city center yet quiet. They have also kept some of the characteristics of the building. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good quality bedding. Staff were professional and helpful throughout my stay. Due to our IHG royalty scheme, we were offered welcome drink at bar which we could choose from any drinks - this was a nice gestures. Breakfast was great with both buffet and a la cart choices.

By no standard is the Intercontinental in Dublin a 5 star resort. The rooms are dated, there is no attention to detail as I’ve seen at other resorts that are actually in this category. If this was a much less expensive 3 star hotel I’d say it was satisfactory but at this tier there is no excuse for bad beds, barely working showers and dated amenities (TV is many generations old, lights flicker in room, feel springs in mattress etc). Would not return and makes me hesitant to try other of the brand. After our stay they did comp our room service as an attempt to make up for it.

Beautiful hotel, staff friendly, efficient and helpful and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The chauffeur service was great too. Absolutely loved this hotel, thanks for a lovely stay and will definitely stay again!

Have just returned from a 3-night break at your wonderful hotel. The service was excellent throughout, especially in Seasons Restaurant. Everything was perfect, thank you.
