Grand old hotel and beautiful spa experience
Faultless! Charming old hotel with lots of history, the rooms have all the amenities you would expect for this standard of hotel and the beds are sooooo comfy. The highlight and our main reason for booking this hotel was for the spa. We each had a hot stone massage and it was sublime. The staff are fantastic and very accomodating. Afterwards there is a little room off the reception with daybeds where you can sit and enjoy a snack and cup of tea, or champagne whilst watching everyone else on the street below go about their day.

Brilliant service, nothing was too much for the staff, everything to the highest standards. Brilliant location close to museums, shopping, restaurants. The hotel itself has an amazing history and has been setting standards for two centuries.

Beautiful hotel
Wonderful hotel. A great location, and exceptionally nice employees. I have stayed at enough 5 star Marriotts to have high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed. This is an exceptionally nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have had.

Excellent stay in a beautiful hotel
“We had a fantastic time and a wonderful stay. The staff are so good and so nice and we met a Turkish lady in the main restaurant that is excellent at her job, so much so I would employ her myself. There was also another lady in there that was really good. Food was also very good. John at the main door is as friendly as ever and the staff in both the Horseshoe bar and the main bar were great. We loved our stay and also I would like to thank Ashley, who I email for a room and is always so nice to deal with and quick getting back to me. Thanks for a wonderful time. The food was excellent, tasty and warm and really well presented. The sauces with both our dinner dishes were lovely an all food was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also very good and service again in there by all staff was excellent.”

Perfect Dublin Hotel
The Shelbourne is located perfectly for touring Trinity College and the Book of Kells. The hotel is also very close to Grafton Street shopping and many pubs! The service was friendly and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and luxurious. Everything I expect in a 5 star property was met. I only wish we had been able to stay longer than one night.
