About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. The transformation of the hotel is already well underway and is taking place over a phased approach to ensure we can continue to operate as business as usual.

Perfect stay for a special occasion
I took my mother on a trip to Scotland to celebrate a milestone birthday, and we stayed at The Caledonian before and after our tour of the Highlands. We loved everything about the hotel and it was the perfect setting for a memorable visit. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything from storing luggage after we arrived from the US to coordinating travel around Edinburgh during our stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and I believe that as a Hilton Diamond member I received an upgrade to "best in class" for the rooms I reserved. Our castle view room on our first stay was a real treat, allowing us to enjoy sweeping views of the city, while the enormous double-queen room on our second stay included the largest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. The breakfast buffet was both impressive and delicious. We had one dinner at The Court, and the service and ambiance made it a special experience. We took the tram in from the airport and the hotel is located half a block down the street from a tram stop, making it easy to access, and the location just below Edinburgh Castle was a convenient starting point for exploring the city.

Simply incredible!
My wife and I were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at this hotel. It was without a doubt the single best experience staying at a hotel we have ever had. Tegan was incredibly helpful in planning and preparing and was invaluable to the whole process of planning the day. Thanks to her help everything was perfect on the day. The staff could not have been more helpful, Ria Anne was amazing and the personal touches really elevated the experience and made the whole experience magical. The rooms were incredible. Every aspect of the service is great including the breakfast, during which the incredible service was continued by Analine and Helen. Overall I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who can stay, especially if they have a special trip planned. My wife and I will remember the trip fondly due to the stunning hotel and incredible service 10/10.

The Court
Friendly staff who checked to make sure everything was ok with food, drinks etc. Sandwiches were fresh and served with salad and chips. Beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere made it a special occasion. Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of the West End.

Amazing Hotel with an Amazing Staff!
The Caledonian Hotel Edinburgh is AMAZING, from the staff, the room, the food, the location, I can't say enough!! The Caledonian Hotel should be proud of the efforts they make to ensure a happy experience for their guests, they made our stay so, so pleasant. This was a Company trip 150 strong, we were there for one week and everyone was happy. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize a special employee, Re Anne, she made our stay even more spectacular than it already was, so much so, that my wife and I asked to take her and husband out to dinner with us. Keep up the good work The Caledonian Hotel Team, we will be back to see you soon!!

Once more we were thrilled and delighted by our first class experience at the Court. Isla and her team are outstanding ambassadors for not only the Caley but also the hospitality sector.
