The team at the Virgin hotel Edinburgh deliver a fantastic experience from the reservation to departure. Our stay was fantastic, the team at the entrance were extremely helpful and nice. Check in was super smooth and all the facilities are excellent. This is one of my favourite hotel in Scotland !

Centrally located, exceptional staff, our rooms were very comfortable, floors warmed in shower area and we had a well stocked assortment of regional food and beverages. Robes and slippers were very very soft and comfortable. Plenty of outlets for your plug in needs. A walkout balcony

Stylish Stay in the Heart of Edinburgh!
We stayed at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh this February and absolutely loved it! The hotel is stunning — a perfect mix of modern design and historic charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. The location is unbeatable, right in the Old Town, just steps from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the Grassmarket’s cozy cafés and shops. Even in February’s crisp weather, the city was vibrant, and we enjoyed museum visits, guided tours, and scenic walks. We also loved relaxing at the hotel’s lively bar and restaurant after a day of exploring. Virgin Hotels Edinburgh made our trip truly memorable — we can’t wait to return!

Uneven Service and Room Layout trying to be Cool, but Aren't
Unless you are in the room by yourself, get a room with a proper bathroom. The front desk staff came across like you were interrupting them from socializing. We had issues with our first room and had to be moved. This was our first stay on a two-week trip in the UK. Thankfully, the Old Course Hotel and Langham London made our visit a great one overall. On a positive note, the staff in Eve, Commons Bar and the Doormen team saved the day. The hotel is a great location but so are other hotels in Edinburgh.
