I booked a night away for my wife and I for our 5th anniversary last weekend. What a tremendous hotel. An anniversary we will never forget.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions since it opened, and to be honest, it has consistently presented challenges. Most recently, the service has been particularly disappointing, especially the reception staff, who came across as arrogant and unhelpful. There was also a clear inconsistency in the booking process; we were charged over $150 for a rollaway bed that was never disclosed to us in advance. Leadership at this property appears to change frequently, and the overall management feels disorganised and inconsistent. There are much nicer properties in the GC to stay at now, who provide much better service that one would expect from a supposed five star property.

The residence part of the hotel is spectacular and so is the price tag. Breakfast is wonderful, service to match and the facilities are more than what we needed. We especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool which has magnesium, great for achey bones and when the weather is raining. We enjoyed the sauna and having access to the beach. We rented electric bikes along the foreshore and didn't mind that the hotel is a bit far from restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and the views are spectacular. The appliances are all top notch and handy to have laundry and kitchen facilites. Would absolutey return.

I was thoroughly impressed with both the hotel and its prime location. From the moment we checked in, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The service, ambiance, and overall experience were truly exceptional. I would like to especially commend Richard at the pool and Kira from reservation were absolutely amazing.
