I literally just arrived and the hotel gave me the best first impression already thanks to Kristina in reception. She went out of her way to accommodate my family. The room is great and location is also superb. Thanks for your help and looking forward to a great holiday in Hawaii.

Brilliantly located within spitting distance of Honolulu's hottest venues, you can throw in Waikuki Beach, International Market Place, Macey's and to top it off you are only a hop, step and jump away from two of the most revered restos in Honolulu viz Duke's and the Cheesecake Factory . Expensive but both top- notch! You can get a good cheap breakfast at the Outlander and the Happy Hour is a long one...6 hours. The hotel is efficiently run. Four lifts work efficiently and reception staff are friendly and knowledable (except for the guy with frizzy hair, an unfriendly type who seems to hate his job!! ) I have a few tips to save you money, bearing in mind, Honolulu is outrageously expensive. 1. Have breakfast at the hotel, with vouchers, it's no cost.otherwise a cheap bargain without coupons. For lunch go to ABC shop very close to hotel and dig into a prepared salad or fruit platter. So your only expensive meal is dinner in the e evening...and if you want a cheap dinner, go to the Food Hall at the International Market for excellent meal and great music. A delightful evening there !! Also, forget about buying bottled water, the hotel has a large water dispenser in the lobby, so use it to top up your water bottles. All said and done, it has been a pleasure to stay here.

We were given the very best service from beginning to end! Starting with Dave down picking our luggage up and Kristina at the front desk with the friendliest smile and the most helpful in getting us checked in. Beachcomber is always our family’s favorite place to stay in Waikiki! The hospitality is amazing and the hotel is so perfectly located. A must go to always!

This review is specifically for Kyle who works in the front. We visit Waikiki very regularly. My mother was waiting for us downstairs while my daughter and I ran to find the nearest ABC Drugstore since her slipper broke. She walked up to the desk and asked they guy working where the Aroma coffee shop was. He pointed somewhere, she couldn't even tell where. My mom told him she thought it was downstairs. He looked at her and rudely said not anymore or something like that and walked away. We took a little longer than we expected. When we met her about ten minutes later my mom was shaking her head. She told us the story and that the boy Kyle was so rude to her. She also said that while she waiting, she saw the other workers helping guests and they were so friendly. And that guy Kyle was just standing on the side doing nothing. She kept shaking her head and said that's not right. I asked her if she wanted me to talk to someone about it but she said no, she just wanted to leave. All day long she kept bringing it up and saying they shouldn't have workers like that in Waikiki. I found this so odd because the rest of the staff has always been so friendly. I know good help is hard to find now days, but it just takes one employee to leave a lasting impression...good or bad. I hope he gets the training he needs.
