Thompson Houston

Sol7 Restaurant was absolutely amazing! The views were stunning, and the food was delicious. We tried the lump crab cake, the steak frites, and for dessert, the ice cream sandwich and black forest cake — both recommended by our awesome server, Jennie. Everything was spot on. Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!

The room was beautiful room, clean with a comfortable bed. The pool with the Downtown Houston Skyline in breathtaking. The restaurant was excellent with good food and great cocktails. Housekeeping service was on time and with care to details.

We have stayed at the Thompson 4 times now. I have decided to give you all chances because you are so new but this is not the level of service we expect at a Thompson or 4 star hotel. Valet was not great they asked my wife to move her car rather than accepting the keys and moving it themselves. Front desk was not able to accommodate a suite upgrade even when suites were available. I have NEVER experienced this at other hyatts. I had to ask for water upon check in (All other hyatts offer). Room was a city view but had dirty windows. I also requested a call from the front desk manager on check in day to discuss the room and never received a call. As mentioned this is now our 4th time with you all and I am about ready to call it quits and just stay at the regency downtown. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of customer service.

I love a good time. The customer service is unmatched. From arrival to check out. The pool area was bomb and the staff. My room view, the pool view was a good look. Dinner was everything and the whole weekend was a vibe. My friends had an amazing time. We will definitely be here all summer.

So many amenities and excellent & kind staff are what set this hotel and brand apart from others. I did have some experiences that indicated that food and beverage areas were slightly understaffed, but overall had a great stay and would recommend the hotel.
