It was a very different and fantastic experience. Everything was amazing and the breakfast was very excellent. I thank Raig for her kindness and wonderful service. The rooms were beyond description and the quietness of the place was very amazing

Raffles Bali is an undeniably beautiful resort, with a level of service and attention to detail that’s genuinely world-class. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt elevated, intimate, and highly personalised. Our villa was spacious, well appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The little touches, like the lavender-scented post-shower oil (which promoted the most heavenly sleep), added a quiet layer of indulgence. Every element felt considered. Our butler, Krishna, was outstanding. He had an intuitive understanding of our preferences, often anticipating our needs before we voiced them. His friendly and professional manner played a major role in shaping our overall experience. Chef G personally introduced himself during check-in and offered a overview of the resort’s F&B options. Dinner at Rumari, the resort’s main restaurant, was a standout - delicious, with Chef G making a point to check in between courses to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast, also at Rumari, is served high above the treetops with sweeping views of the ocean. It’s clear they take great pride in their morning offering — and rightly so, it’s one of the best we’ve experienced in Bali. Cocktails at the bar were of a similarly high calibre, and the more relaxed Loloan Beach Bar & Grill by the pool offered a more casual yet high-quality alternative. That said, the resort is VERY quiet — almost to a fault. The silence is palpable, and while that may appeal to guests seeking complete solitude, we found it verged on too subdued. A touch of atmosphere - perhaps some live acoustic music at sunset or soft entertainment in the evenings - would have provided some atmosphere and improved our enjoyment of the public spaces and encouraged us to linger longer. Our other note is regarding the cost of wine. While premium pricing is expected at a property of this calibre, the mark-ups were unusually high, even by Bali standards — with a bottle of rosé setting us back over AUD$200. Any meal, especially accompanied with wine/cocktails etc was costly. Raffles Bali is a sanctuary of calm, ideal for those seeking peace, privacy, and attentive service. While we appreciated many elements of our stay, we would have welcomed a little more energy around the resort, especially in the evenings. Three nights was more than enough for us. A truly special place — just one best suited to those looking for complete tranquillity. I would not recommend for families.

Let me start with the positives first: staying at The Raffles Jimbaran is all about enjoying the outstanding Villa - pure luxury. Villas are new and have all modern amenities you would expect. We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday and the dinner at The Cave made the occasion truly memorable. The resort is small, providing a great sense of intimacy and privacy. Unfortunately, there’s a construction site next door - they’re building a new high rise hotel and the noise created by the construction site is a spoiler. We had to request to be moved from our first Villa, which was three villas down from the construction site, but the move was only possible on the third day of our holiday. During that time there was drilling, hammering and other construction noises going on. The management team we’re empathetic but unfortunately no much they could do apart from providing alternative accommodation half way through. Had I known about the construction site beforehand I would have booked elsewhere, perhaps at the Four Seasons Jimbaran. Overall we still had an amazing stay, enjoyed the luxury of the Villa and the very attentive service provided by the staff.

We visited the restaurant which had a beautiful view over Jimbaran bay and beach. The food was amazing as was the service. Our taxi dropped us at reception which was high on the hill, but the resaurant was a 5 minute golf buggy ride down the hill through manacured gardens. The infinity pool got us nicely cooled down to continue enjoying refreshments. Bonus...not as expensive as you may think.

Wow. My husband and I got to stay at The Raffles to celebrate our late anniversary and we were beyond impressed. From the grandiose to the littlest details, The Raffles serves high class and luxury. Shout out to Sila, our butler he was AMAZING! While the property was absolutely stunning, the staff were even more amazing! Everyone was professional, kind, and intentional! Here are some more staff members who will truly make your stay unforgettable; Sila, who we mentioned before, Adi was a staff member from the pool bar, Jocelyn was our server at the bar and grill, and Wydia and Bagus who worked at the primary restaurant. These people elevated our experience with their kindness and warm personalities. We hope to be back soon so we can experience this paradise again!
