I was in Hong Kong for a personal trip and opted to stay in the Kowloon Shangri-La again on 2 occasions i.e. Mar 27 to Mar 30 and Apr 2 to Apr 3, 2025. It has always been my priority to stay in this hotel whenever I make the trip to Hong Kong, being a very loyal Golden Circle Member. Since my last stay in 2024, this hotel has continued to maintain a high standard of Service Excellence. I had a very memorable stay throughout and it is amazing that the hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. I have always chosen to stay at the Horizon Club Floor, which I feel provides the best service as compared to other hotels Club Floors I have stayed elsewhere. I have decided to put up this message as I feel the hotel deserved the complements and recognition for being a role model for Service Excellence. Starting from my arrival at the hotel, I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted to the lift for registration up at the Horizon Club Concierge. The Club Concierge attendant was very accommodating and assisted my checking in with great efficiency. He even provided me with a portable mobile connector in case I need to use my mobile outside the hotel. He seems to be familiar with the room I like to stay before i.e. near the lift and on the same floor as the Horizon Club Lounge. My compliments to Hayden for all the kind gesture and making my stay so comfortable. The room is always kept clean and tidy. I feel very comfortable with the spacious room and lighting (warm and cozy) including the neat furnishing decor. Whenever I visited the Horizon Club Lounge, they have very polite and friendly attendants. My special compliments to both Janis Ho and Elisa Lai for their warm and kind gestures by granting me a place to sit by the window on my last day stay (did not get the chance to sit by window all the time). The hotel is very centrally located and easy access to the MTR Train Station. Also within the vicinity are numerous eating outlets and Malls that are worth a visit (especially the new established K11 Mall next to Rosewood Hotel). I also visited the Cafe Kool and the Lobby Lounge. The environment is very suitable in terms of seating and attendants helming the area. Also, good place for friends gathering or meetings at the Lobby Lounge. I particularly like the Cafe Kool as they have a wide variety and choices of food available. In summary, it is always my pleasure to stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. Being a loyal Golden Circle member, it would be great in my next stay to get an upgraded room facing the Harbor view. This time I was informed it was full due to a sport event taking place in Hongkong, thus unable to provide an upgrade for me. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Mark Bannon for replying to my feedback at Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong.

Everything about the hotel was very good , the room food,horizon club,staff and it was an experience I will always treasure.The view from the Horizon club was one that you could die for! On leaving the hotel we received a complimentary drink once again showing the politeness and kindness of all that served us

Our room was lovely, clean and quite large with harbour view. I had 2 of the best nights sleep so bed and pillows must be good. Staff mostly helpful. On check in asked about upgrading, the cost was prohibitive. Having been able to upgrade for £120 a night in the Bangkok shangri la to a 2 roomed 24th floor suite with lounge access hoped for similar here. At least they gave us a harbour view room in Hong Kong. This seems to be a transit hotel with bus loads coming and going most of the day so very busy in the foyer and noisy in the only public lounge. Plus no outside space for relaxation. and the inside space tightly controlled. Several times I needed to sit while waiting for my husband. Had to check in to get a seat in the lounge area and felt I should have ordered drinks. Noticed the best seats in the lounge with a view outside were all reserved. It was quite a while before they were occupied. The pool is indoor and not very big and nowhere to sit by it. In hindsight we should have been more careful with our choice for the last 3 days after a month's travel. Did 2 days sightseeing and on last day just wanted to relax before our late night flight. We paid £160 extra to keep the room until 7pm and did this mainly because there was no decent public space to wait or relax in.

I hadn’t been to Hong Kong since 1999, and we didn’t have a great experience. In saying that, we were in our 20’s. Now, being in our 50’s, we saw our trip with different eyes. We weren’t sure if we were going to like our trip, but from the first moment we were greeted by the door staff, we fell in love with Hong Kong/Kowloon and the hotel. We were in the Harbour Club side Harvour View suite. It was a 2 room, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 2 toilets and seperate working area (lounge). The room was exceptional, very clean, and the views were amazing. The only downside is that the room could smell a bit smoky from the air con. The club was the best part of the hotel. The staff which included Janis, Buddy, Kit, Hebe and Tony were so responsive and accomodating. We, for sure, will look forward to coming back.

Our room is lovely, the breakfast, tea and cocktails are terrific and Amber Lee does a great job in making sure everything is perfect. The Shangri-La has an excellent location on the promenade overlooking Victoria y and Hong Kong Island. Thank you.
