Las Vegas is a city that redefines the meaning of the word superlative, and Bellagio stands among the very best. From the moment you enter the palatial lobby, veiled in 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, bliss is yours. Beautiful guest rooms and dazzling estate-style suites triumphantly encapsulate luxury, while Spa Bellagio bathes you in sheer indulgence. A plethora of gourmet dining selections features some of the finest restaurants in the country, including the AAA Five-Diamond Award-winning Le Cirque and Picasso.

It’s not the cheapest hotel, but the room was clean and spacious, the bed super comfy and the bathroom is also nice. It’s also the best location bang center of the strip. The pool area was also great and plus we had a view of the fountains from our room on the 15th floor. On the downside the minibar etc in the room is very over priced, also the drinks around the pool area are around $25 each

The hotel is well laid out and beautiful social spaces. LOVE the pool area. Only complaint was the pool deck was closed at 6pm and there weren't any other "outdoor" hanging out spots for early evening beverages and conversation. But otherwise, loved the stocked mini bar, the restaurants on site, the coffee shop and pool bar!

Front desk staff was rude and condescending. We arrived late dude to flight delays. Despite calling the hotel to notify them of our late arrival, our room was no longer available when we arrived, they basically told us there was nothing they could do, AND they tried charging us an exorbitant no show fee. I will never stay at Bellagio after the way we were treated.

Friendly staff, easy access to Cesars, and the Venetian expo center. Also, the Sphere and monorail is easy walk. The casino is small, but Cesars is across the bridge so not a big deal. I rather like the smaller casino. I was not particularly happy with the selection of resturants but having Ceasars so close negated this deficieny.

According to BA (British Airways) this is a 5 star hotel. I am not sure what their star rating is based on but in my opinion it is 4 star at best. We checked in and paid the $55.00 dollar, plus tax, daily resort fee, the total per day inc tax at the moment is $62.36, then we had to put a deposit of £400 dollars on the room in case we caused any damages, ok lots of hotels do this & it is only charged if necessary at the end of your stay. We asked if there was any room in the fridge for things like milk etc & there is a tiny shelf, but reception warned us that the pre packed fridge was very sensitive and not to move items unless we were going to pay for them. Ok, we could cope with that. When we got to the room, which was pretty big as USA rooms go, we were very disappointed to find the bath/shower mat looked as if it was from a cheap motel & had holes, not by design, in it, there were also black hairs on the bathroom floor & the shower head looked as if it had not been cleaned for a while. After a visit to reception and a conversation with the front desk manager, we were offered a room change. I didn’t want the hassle of a room change, note not an upgrade, so he offered us a room credit & that housekeeping would attend to replace the nasty bath/shower mat. We also requested a kettle for the room at a charge of $48.77 including tax. The kettle arrived on a trolley already boiled. Looking around the room there was a skirting board that needed work finishing, the window had tape on it for some reason and the air-con cupboard did not seem to fit. The trip to Las Vegas with BA was not cheap and If I was the hotel Manager I would be embarrassed to say I was happy with the condition of the rooms. The hotel, or guest side, could do with a refit. The pool area is nice, as is Como restaurant, but the rest looks the same as when I was there not long after it opened, times have changed and guests expect a more modern experience. I am happy to pay for 5 star if I get a 5 star room and facilities. I would suggest checking before ordering drinks in the Baccarat bar, it appeared to be more expensive than the other bars, lesson learnt first night. The Buffett at Bellagio is also quite expensive, dinner was from $74.99 plus tax and prices can change at peak periods. I know not a lot of people use the buffets these days & I understand why, we had a great meal at Carmines in the Forum Shops at Caesars, for $150 plus tip for 4 people, great value and that included drinks. It was so good we ate there twice, the staff are amazing. Las Vegas has certainly become a lot more expensive in recent years & prices of clothes etc has certainly gone up, New York is better value for shopping in my opinion, although I still managed to pick up some great priced Levi’s with the offers available. Would I go back, probably not, Las Vegas has run its course for me, I have been many times and this likely to be my last visit.
