Find all of the beauty and drama of Venice in a most unlikely place when you check into The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino on the Strip in Las Vegas. With soaring marble pillars, works of art and entire facades painstakingly recreated, not to mention actual canals with singing gondoliers gliding past, The Venetian captures the magic of Italy perfectly. The Grand Canal Shoppes, including some of the most sought-after designer names, and restaurants run by some of most highly regarded chefs, line the canals beneath vaulted, hand-painted ceilings. An 112,000 square foot casino awaits those ready to try their luck at the famed tables, while a variety of activities offer additional diversity. The Venetian is a chance to walk through halls of history, explore the beauty of one of Italy's most famous cities, and to experience the wonders that Las Vegas has to offer - in one spectacular resort.

Venetian Las Vegas delivers with an excellent experience on the Las Vegas Strip. We arrived for check in around noon, lots of people but the short line kept moving so we were checked in within 15 minutes, nice start to the trip. I asked about any upgrades and was put into a room with direct view of the Sphere for no extra charge which I thought was very nice. Our room was one of the unrenovated King suites but it was spotless and more than adequate for us. For the money, I think that the Venetian (and the Palazzo) have the nicest rooms on the Strip. One of the benefits of the Venetian is the sheer number of restaurant options available. Whatever you are looking for you'll probably find it here. We ate all of our meals on property. As far as amenities, we used both the gym and the pool. Loved the gym, it had lots of machines so it was set up for a good workout. The pool deck had numerous pools and was very nice. I'd recommend getting there early though to secure a chair. We were at the pool before 9 am every morning and would have been scrambling to get a seat otherwise. The casino was fun although we didn't win big on this trip. I feel that the location of the hotel is on the nicer part of the Strip. Wynn, Caesars, the Linq Promenade and even Bellagio isn't very far away. Walgreens is right alongside the hotel. Lastly, customer service is great. Every employee we encountered was helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a quality, higher end place to stay in Las Vegas the Venetian fits the bill.

The best experience I've ever had staying at this luxury hotel. Special thanks to my Host Lele Lam. She was extremely attentive!!! Thank you Lele for making our stay so memorable!! Now that we have you , we will definitely return to this place and no where else in Vegas!!!

While visiting the canals, we were walking on the escalator which was turned off d/t rain and was covered with rugs. One the rugs wasn't secured enough, and as I stepped on it, the rug slid and I fell on my back, scraped my elbow. Thankfully didn't break any bones. For that class of a hotel, I would expect that they will make sure that their grounds are safe for visitors.

We just returned from our stay at the Venetian a few days ago. When checking in, we upgraded to the Prestige Club Suites which includes great perks! However, our suite was directly below construction. This was loud at night as well as during the day and got worse as our stay went on. We finally went to the front desk to complain and they stated they could move us to a different suite. We asked why we'd be put in a room directly below ongoing construction and they didn't really have an answer. It was our last night of our stay and we decided the best decision would be to move. We asked for a credit for our upgrade fees, but they would only credit 2 days of resort fees. We were told to talk to the Prestige concierge for any possible additional credits. We packed up and moved to another suite (lower and lesser ease access to the Prestige club) and we were short a refrigerator. We then went to the Prestige club and spoke with the concierge. They agreed to send a refrigerator ("complimentary") and said they would ask a manager if they could credit any upgrade fees. I went back shortly and they were able to credit 1 day of the upgrade fees. We headed back to our new room and upon entering, the refrigerator was there but the room STUNK like weed. It was so overwhelming that I called the front desk and they said they could send up an air purifier "complimentary". It didn't really do the trick, as the smell lingered until morning. At checkout, I brought this issue up and they credited the other days of resort fees, but no upgrade fees credit. This was very disheartening, as we've stayed at various resorts in Las Vegas and have never had these problems with the room and/or management assistance. Unfortunately, it was just not a great experience.

Front Desk sold us on rooms at cost we thought was it but learned they upgraded us at a huge cost and information that try to sell us was misleading. Watch out for the front desk folks ..easy sellers and push you away quickly with long line waiting. They got me as I signed the contract and rushed away.. Be careful this hotel is looking for suckers

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
