Wonderful
Wonderful experience, lovely hotel and great service. First time visiting this hotel and very impressed by everything. Would definitely recommend to a friend to stay as a guest or to sit for an afternoon. Staff were very attentive and very friendly.

Luxurious with a lot of comfort
Our stay was delightful. The staff was always very helpful and attentive to our well-being. The rooms were exceptional, and we tried to enjoy every minute of our stay. The gym was superb, equipped with a wide variety of equipment. However, the spa was somewhat disappointing as it only had a pool and a whirlpool. While this was sufficient for us, we expected more, especially considering that external guests have to pay CHF 125 just for the spa. I would have loved to go to the sauna with my spouse, but unfortunately, that was not possible due to the gender-separated sauna areas.

Good location, food and bars
Arrived at the LP after getting off at the train station. It is a very steep hill up to the hotel, about a 10 min walk. Staff at reception were friendly, got us a glass of water and showed us to the room. Room was large and updated but the communal landing outside the room needs modernising, it’s very old fashioned. On the first night we had a drink in LP’s before our dinner in the Brasserie. Service was slow & it took 10 mins for our drinks to arrive. Dinner in the Brasserie was very good: chicken cordon bleu and pork steak (described as ribs), 3 glasses of wine and crepes suzette, the bill came to 159 chf. Breakfast was ok but not as much choice as our previous hotels in Switzerland (see reviews). Just one point, the bathroom floor was very slippy, I slipped in the shower after my husband had been in even though we put the towel mats on the floor. Hotel is in a good location & I would recommend.
