Fantastic one night stay. Check in was conducted in the charming executive lounge, where I was offered scones, jam and clotted cream paired with a choice of champagne. Later in the evening, I returned for the “Plunder the Pantry” offerings. The lemon sole was excellent, and I can honestly say that I had the best Martini I’ve ever had. The next day I was granted a late checkout, which was greatly appreciated as I had an evening journey to Heathrow. Although I was a solo guest, I’d recommend 41 to anyone wanting a unique, luxury stay in London.

Back after 3 years away. My wife and I booked a 4 night stay at our favourite hotel to celebrate my birthday. Upon entering the hotel it was like coming back home. We were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff while our bags were taken upstairs. Check in could not be more relaxed, sitting on a sofa and being offered a choice of complimentary champagnes. Our room was both stylish, comfortable and well equipped. The highlight of the room is the most comfortable and biggest bed we have ever slept in. The turndown service was both stylish and interesting with lovely pillow treats. The breakfasts are second to none, beautifully cooked and served with attention. In the afternoon we enjoyed complimentary freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam on the roof terrace. For me, it is the little touches that make Hotel 41 so special and sets it apart from other 5 star hotels. We were blessed by beautiful weather during our stay and on the roof terrace there is a “beach hut” with sun tan lotions (factor 50 for me), and sunglasses along with treats and bags of popcorn. In the evening we enjoyed drinks and cocktails served both in the lounge and on the rooftop. These were served with complimentary canapés and croque monsieur. Don’t forget to help yourself to the fantastic Jude’s ice cream from the fridge in the lounge. The staff at 41 are what make 41 so exceptional. Is was if they knew what I wanted before I did. Very happy memories of our best ever hotel stay.

This hotel provides a very personalised, boutique experience - service levels are exceptional - quite possibly the best I’ve encountered. Guests are truly cared for, every need and whim catered to, and staff, simply outstanding. No 41 has just 30 rooms and occupies the fifth floor of the Rubens Hotel, both are part of the Red Carnation group. 41 has a separate, blink-and-you-miss entrance, which opens into a private lobby where guests are received before being escorted to the executive lounge and greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and canapés. There is a pantry of treats for guests to help themselves to throughout the day, a very generous and varied array, alongside table served nibbles. I didn’t bother with dinner on the night of my stay, preferring to graze on the delicious canapés, cheeses, chocolates, ice-creams, etc, etc. Don’t miss the candy stash room either! 24 hour room service is also offered, in addition to the restaurants and bars of the Ruben’s. Decor is upscale and tasteful, an elegant monochrome palette running through the hotel. The lounge has the feel of a private members club, book lined and plush, though neither stuffy or hushed. Above, you’ll find a charming rooftop terrace. Bedrooms are exquisite - beautifully designed, with the most sumptuous of beds, uber-lux bedding, and various thoughtful touches, including delicious sweet treats. You’ll find ample sockets, a well placed vanity area, good wardrobe space, and a nicely stocked hot beverage tray. My room had a little fireplace too. Bathrooms are marble clad with a generous provision of divine products. Despite the bustling location on Buckingham Palace Road, the hotel is a haven of gentile tranquility. Victoria tube is around 5 minutes walk To sum up - an exceptional and faultless stay - No41 provides impeccable service and is imbued with old school charm and a guest-led ethos, making it a rather special place to stay. Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! We stayed at Hotel 41 on Buckingham Palace Road for 3 nights to celebrate my wife’s special birthday. The hotel is wonderful with a very relaxing ambiance. All of the staff were friendly and polite and the food was excellent. It was the 3rd time of staying at the hotel and like the previous occasions we were not disappointed. Breakfast is a delight and the food options available throughout the day and night really help you to wind down or prepare for the next outing. Thanks to all the staff who made the stay so special. Highly recommended!!
