Reviews for Hotel 41

Very Special Indeed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel provides a very personalised, boutique experience - service levels are exceptional - quite possibly the best I’ve encountered. Guests are truly cared for, every need and whim catered to, and staff, simply outstanding. No 41 has just 30 rooms and occupies the fifth floor of the Rubens Hotel, both are part of the Red Carnation group. 41 has a separate, blink-and-you-miss entrance, which opens into a private lobby where guests are received before being escorted to the executive lounge and greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and canapés. There is a pantry of treats for guests to help themselves to throughout the day, a very generous and varied array, alongside table served nibbles. I didn’t bother with dinner on the night of my stay, preferring to graze on the delicious canapés, cheeses, chocolates, ice-creams, etc, etc. Don’t miss the candy stash room either! 24 hour room service is also offered, in addition to the restaurants and bars of the Ruben’s. Decor is upscale and tasteful, an elegant monochrome palette running through the hotel. The lounge has the feel of a private members club, book lined and plush, though neither stuffy or hushed. Above, you’ll find a charming rooftop terrace. Bedrooms are exquisite - beautifully designed, with the most sumptuous of beds, uber-lux bedding, and various thoughtful touches, including delicious sweet treats. You’ll find ample sockets, a well placed vanity area, good wardrobe space, and a nicely stocked hot beverage tray. My room had a little fireplace too. Bathrooms are marble clad with a generous provision of divine products. Despite the bustling location on Buckingham Palace Road, the hotel is a haven of gentile tranquility. Victoria tube is around 5 minutes walk To sum up - an exceptional and faultless stay - No41 provides impeccable service and is imbued with old school charm and a guest-led ethos, making it a rather special place to stay. Highly Recommended.

Fabulous stay at Hotel 41

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! We stayed at Hotel 41 on Buckingham Palace Road for 3 nights to celebrate my wife’s special birthday. The hotel is wonderful with a very relaxing ambiance. All of the staff were friendly and polite and the food was excellent. It was the 3rd time of staying at the hotel and like the previous occasions we were not disappointed. Breakfast is a delight and the food options available throughout the day and night really help you to wind down or prepare for the next outing. Thanks to all the staff who made the stay so special. Highly recommended!!

Lovely hotel with a brilliant staff team.

A lovely hotel, with the most amazing staff team. Perfect location for exploring and some really good restaurants and wine bars. The rooms and public areas are really lovely but it’s the staff team that make this a really special experience. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The best hotel experience in London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The best hotel experience in London. The hotel itself is lovely and in a fantastic location but it’s the staff that make this hotel stand out. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is seamless. A wonderful stay, thank you ☺️

Easter birthday at Hotel 41

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed here for Easter weekend as it was my wife’s birthday. We have stayed in a number of hotels in London, this is the best yet. It is a truly special hotel, it makes you feel like you are back when, in my opinion, Britain was great, to my wife and I it is faultless. The room we were fortunately upgraded to was a duplex suite which had everything you could ask for, it was fabulous. The executive lounge is a great plus with snacks and food given most of the day, you can also order from a high quality meal and drinks menu at a charge. The staff from the welcome on arrival, to the check-in and lounge staff are as good as anyone could expect, nothing is too much trouble and the attention to detail is second to none. I’d like to give a special mention to Simona, Gabriel and Jei. The suite was kept immaculately clean and tidy with treats before bed, Elemis pillow spray, Elemis bath and fudge. As a special treat an Easter egg with chocolates and jellies and a note were left on Easter Sunday too. This does really add to the positive feeling the hotel gives to its guests. I would like to thank everyone at Hotel 41 for making my wife’s birthday a very special occasion.

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
