We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Cafe Royal. It’s a really interesting hotel. The lobby and common spaces are very traditional, while the hallways and rooms are very modern. The bar and dining room split the difference, being devoted to British Rock, especially David Bowie. I was astonished to hear a track from the 801 live album playing at breakfast one morning- that’s a deep dive. The concierges were amazing. They went far above and beyond, wrangling last minute restaurant reservations, making sure that we were squared away with our Uber, etc… The room was very modern. It was dead quiet, you couldn’t hear a thing from the outside world. There was a Nespresso machine in the room that came in very handy. The only minor negative was the lighting system. It was dark in our room, even with all of the lights on. It was hard to maneuver from the bed to the bathroom in the dark. Every night I left the bathroom lights on and they turned themselves off at some point. A couple of more lumens in the top and a night light would be appreciated. The hotel’s location is fabulous. It’s walk to many of the major attractions in London. There’s a convenient bus that from near the hotel to Harrod’s and it’s a 10 or 15 minute walk to an Uber Boat, which is a fun way to get to the London Neidfe and Borough Hall. We were upgraded and had breakfast included. The dining room is lovely and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Prices are a bit steep, but it’s a nice place for a leisurely meal. The Hotel Cafe Royal will be our go to place the next time that we visit London.

This lovely hotel was the perfect haven for our family of four during London Marathon weekend. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well fed, including thoughtful gift bags the next before the race! Our package included breakfast every morning, which became a highlight of the entire trip. I have NEVER tasted fruit as sweet or flavorful...and whoever is making their pastries must be straight out of France because you can't tell the difference. It's a fantastic location, literally one block away from Piccadilly Circus station and an easy walk to many parks. Our family enjoyed walking up and down Regent Street, and Soho and West End are blocks away. I personally loved the historical details in the building, it was a delight from top to bottom! You won't regret staying in this fantastic hotel, the staff will not rest until your needs are met. We felt so thankful and lucky to be able to stay here!

My family and I had a great stay at the Hotel Cafe Royal over the Easter weekend. Firstly, the location is unbeatable, close to shopping and lots of restaurants and Chinatown. The hotel was beautiful, the room well appointed and the housekeeping immaculate. The concierge and front desk services were also great, with utmost attention paid to their guests. There were many surprises for us during the Easter weekend, which greatly delighted my 3.5 year old! We were delighted with Easter eggs and hot cross buns delivered to the room, making our Easter extra special. My girl was most excited with the events held at the kids room, with a special appearance by an entertainer on the Easter weekend as well as a fun experience with decorating Easter eggs with a pastry chef! She was thrilled to visit the kids room each day after our day out. Kudos to the hotel for making the stay so special for the kids! Though there was a little hiccup with a misunderstanding on our last night, the management team reached out to us promptly with sincere apologies, which we appreciated. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Cafe Royal again when visiting London!

Truly amazing experience! If you want to spend a night in london it’s the place to be, amazing service, impeccable attitude of the whole staff! Truly amazing! Special mention to the server Jey, who’s been amazing and knowledgeable! To Jean and to the “Turkish driver” sorry if I don’t have his name.
