The Kensington

Wonderful hotel in a super location. Staff were all amazing. Rooms are fantastic. Easy for tube and walking to shops. All the staff from doormen to concierge or front desk to managers were all so great. Couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely stay again.

Dear Kensington hotel, We are still beaming from our stay with you and just can’t stop talking about how lovely everything (and everyone!) was. From the moment we arrived, we truly felt like we were being welcomed home. You all made our time in London so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, warm, and gracious place to stay. Our son is still chattering about his “adventures” – we LOVED the thoughtful gifts and felt like proper little Londoners! It meant so much to us to be embraced like family, especially by a team that clearly pours their heart into every guest’s experience. That feeling of care and kindness was felt in every moment. Please pass along our heartfelt thanks to everyone there. You truly made London feel like home.

The entire team, led by Thomas, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable in every possible way. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every interaction with the staff felt sincere and warm — from Daisy’s magical touch behind the scenes to Thomas’s leadership and hospitality, the entire experience was infused with care, humor, and genuine kindness. The Kensington is more than a luxury hotel — it’s a place that makes you feel at home, among friends, while still being treated with five-star service. We can’t wait to return and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in London.

Today we thoroughly enjoyed Sunday Lunch at The Kensington. We have often visited for the excellent coffee and thought it high time to try the restaurant - it was absolutely outstanding! The beef was tender, succulent and lavish as were the perfectly prepared vegetables. Our granddaughter loved the “mocktails” and the deserts were delicious. As with every visit we have made, the service stood out above all else. From the friendly, helpful doorman to the waiters and other staff we were treated as valued friends and looked after impeccably. We shall very definitely return to this lovely hotel and restaurant. Traveled here for business and stayed in 3 different hotels during my London trip (all 5 star). The Kensington was miles ahead of the rest. Where do I begin? First class and really friendly service. The staff are incredibly well-trained and seem happy, and it shows. Amazing breakfast. Incredibly spacious and high-end rooms. Fantastic area of London and a walk away from must-see museums. Absolutely loved my stay here. Not a single complaint. Thank you to all the Staff for your fantastic hospitality, especially Harvey. Would 100% stay here again.
