Spectacular property!!!
Beautiful property in the heart of London. Great food and service with every attention to details . Entire staff was very attentive and helpful. Beds were fabulous and the deluxe room was so spacious. We highly recommend this property for a true 5 star experience!

Passive Agressive
The accommodations and the property are extremely nice. The staff is generally passive aggressive and rude. They put on a polite face but you can tell they do not like the guests or their job. They are generally unwilling to accommodate guest requests - one night refund due to flight maintenance and cancellation, early check in, late checkout, room upgrade benefit provided by chase, etc. I would suggest staying at many of the other five star properties in London.

Magical
As always One Aldwych does not disappoint, the dreamiest comfiest rooms and decor, incredible food at Indigo (safe for Coeliacs too) and the floral arrangements are simply magical. The staff go above and beyond always! The location right next to Covent Garden is a big win too!

The location is excellent, and while the rooms were well tasteful and well appointed, they were very small. My wife and I kept joking that they seemed like rooms on a nice cruise ship. Much like a "resort fee", I found the "optional" 5% service charge annoying. I hate getting nickle and dimed. Just tell me what the cost is upfront.

Fabulous weekend stay
Super clean and comfortable bedroom. We even took the pillowcase off to check which pillows they were, they were so good! Considering the hotel is in a very central location, it was as quiet as it could be. It is extremely close to Covent Garden which was great and fun with so much going on. We stayed the weekend of the London marathon, so that was a lovely experience too watching the runners so close by. Every single member of staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would certainly recommend it and visit again. It’s not cheap, but it was extremely enjoyable - I liked that it wasn’t a huge hotel from a bland chain. Just wished we packed our swimsuits and gym gear as the pool and gym looked fab too!
