Reviews for One Aldwych
Fabulous weekend stay
Super clean and comfortable bedroom. We even took the pillowcase off to check which pillows they were, they were so good! Considering the hotel is in a very central location, it was as quiet as it could be. It is extremely close to Covent Garden which was great and fun with so much going on. We stayed the weekend of the London marathon, so that was a lovely experience too watching the runners so close by. Every single member of staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would certainly recommend it and visit again. It’s not cheap, but it was extremely enjoyable - I liked that it wasn’t a huge hotel from a bland chain. Just wished we packed our swimsuits and gym gear as the pool and gym looked fab too!

Price out of control
Who came up with the new pricing structure following the mini-remodel? A bizarre price model has been put in place inserting a Bridge View Studio between a Deluxe room and the Classic Suite. I stayed in the Bridge View when it was a suite. Great view, very awkward room, and it doesn’t appear to have changed. It’s round and they can’t seem to figure out how to place the furniture. Who could? Anyway, the Classic Suite was a nice London find, but is too small to capture £1400. I can go down to the Corinthia and pay £750 a night for a three night stay in an Executive Room, much larger than a One Aldwych Deluxe room, for which they want £950. I tried a couple of other same class hotels when One Aldwych was closed this winter, and unfortunately for One Aldwych they proved more than adequate to the task. I love the hotel ambience and the service, but it isn’t worth what they are asking, and especially insulting to have a large round room inserted as an excuse to raise the Suite price. Sad day. Home away from home gone.

First class across the boqrd
Our stay couldn't have been more pleasant. The beauty of the rooms, the kindness and professionalism of the staff were truly exceptional. The dining at Indigo's surpassed our every expectation. We have travelled many countries - nowhere did we find a completely gluten- and dairy free cuisine on this level. Fine dining at its very, very best.

Top to bottom, I had an excellent experience at this hotel. the staff was top notch, the rooms were perfectly appointed, the bed and pillows were fantastic, and I appreciated the turndown service. Thank you for wonderful service. I hope to be back soon!

Excellent hotel
What an amazing visit. The hotel itself is very nice, comfortable modern room, excellent facilities and good central location for seeing a show or visiting Covent Garden. However what makes the hotel are the staff. Every single one we had any interaction with were positive, helpful and polite. The lounge bar staff are exceptional and we would definitely recommend visiting for a pre dinner cocktail or a light bite during the day. Will stop at this hotel again
