Thompson Madrid

Fantastic location and the property is beautiful but what stands out for me is the team there made our stay so wonderful. It's hard to remember when I've experienced better guest service -- from reception and guest services to housekeeping and F&B. During our week-long stay, everyone was incredibly helpful, responsive and anticipated our needs. For example, I appreciated receiving a heads up about the marathon that was taking place the next day, which was when we were due to check out. We made sure to give ourselves plenty of time to travel to the airport and despite the challenge of finding a taxi during the marathon, the team was able to fine one for us. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of delicious options, including very good pastries they make on site. Highly recommend the Thompson Madrid!

It is a very good hotel, but reflected to the price, it should have been even little better. Good location, but little difficult access to the hotel with car/taxi. Rooftop should have open some services even if it’s not season. Would give the hotel little more vibrate feel. Pretty pricey for services (minibar, roomservice, spa, cocktails)

The customer service and hospitality are very impressive! You made my birthday trip feel elevated and memorable - the birthday greeting and warm welcome, the staff/concierge who pay close to details, and the Las Rozas Village experience. Thank you!

The bed was uncomfortable, the pool and rooftop deck were under construction the entire time (with no advance warning), and the construction in Plaza del Carmen (not their fault) was really inconvenient. We love staying at Thompson Hotels elsewhere, but I'd pick somewhere else in Madrid until the pool and plaza renovations are complete.

Decent hotel in a good location close to everything you need. Had a 3 night stay with prive privileges. Friendly staff. Breakfast was hit and miss. The menu itself is excellent but the service will get you half the items some of the days and not all the items the other days. It includes a starter of a Spanish breakfast, a main and a dessert. They service you so you don’t get any refills of anything, like water or the orange juice. They don’t ask you if you’d like another coffee either. Otherwise the rooms are modern and comfortable. The price was a little too steep for what it is.
