YOU NEED TO TRY
The design of the hotel—hallways, rooms, and all—is absolutely stunning. The only thing that could rival that impression was the friendliness of the staff. Thomson truly delivers luxury lifestyle at its best. The minibar is also thoughtfully curated—offering a fine selection of spirits, wines, and of course, some Jamón and other well-chosen Spanish snacks. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. The rooftop bar is fantastic, and the hotel’s location is a real highlight: right in the heart of the city, yet tucked away on a quiet plaza. The gym is also worth mentioning—it even offers personal trainers, which I really appreciated!

The Thompson Madrid--A visit we will always remember with pleasure
The Thompson Madrid is an exceptional hotel. My son and I rate it as one of the best hotels we have stayed at, and we stay in only excellent hotels. If you want luxury that isn't bogged done with age, but instead is sleek, modern and filled with light, the Thompson Madrid is for you. Everything is easy and excellent. The staff is tops; the food is delightfully fresh and flavorful. The water bottles in the room are complimentary and filled. The location is in the heart of so much of the heart of Madrid--castle, art museums, parks, history--all walkable. The guest rooms are tasteful and comfortable.

Standout Service at this Beautiful Property in Madrid
Fantastic location and the property is beautiful but what stands out for me is the team there made our stay so wonderful. It's hard to remember when I've experienced better guest service -- from reception and guest services to housekeeping and F&B. During our week-long stay, everyone was incredibly helpful, responsive and anticipated our needs. For example, I appreciated receiving a heads up about the marathon that was taking place the next day, which was when we were due to check out. We made sure to give ourselves plenty of time to travel to the airport and despite the challenge of finding a taxi during the marathon, the team was able to fine one for us. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of delicious options, including very good pastries they make on site. Highly recommend the Thompson Madrid!

Very good, but worth it?
It is a very good hotel, but reflected to the price, it should have been even little better. Good location, but little difficult access to the hotel with car/taxi. Rooftop should have open some services even if it’s not season. Would give the hotel little more vibrate feel. Pretty pricey for services (minibar, roomservice, spa, cocktails)
