Check before you book!!
My room is small but nice and the hotel overlooks a new square in the shopping district (Gran Via) of Madrid so the location is good but I what I am very disappointed in is the rooftop pool and rooftop restaurant, which feature prominently on the Hyatt website, are both CLOSED because they are under construction! There is a rooftop bar but I booked this hotel because it had a pool, I received no prior notice and the hotel did nothing to compensate or appease me. My brother is staying at the nearby Edition hotel by Marriott which has a very nice rooftop pool, bar (indoor and outdoor) and restaurant, maybe I'll stay there next time!

customer service not as expected at all and room service cleaners always mad and menu in the restaurant is limited delay in check in and delay in check out not easy going they need to train the staff more how to handle the guest and be flexible with cleaning the room service hours

Exceptional Service
From the moment that we exited the taxi to enteűr Thompson Madrid we greeted with a smile and welcomed. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The staff showed us exceptional service and provided helpful info on travel in and around Madrid. The restaurant was very good with the best pstries and a pizza.

My choice of hotel in Madrid
Thompson Madrid is one of my most favorite hotel I would say. The best location (only 5 minutes away from many metro stations, walkable to many landmarks), cool vibe, spacious room, and what I love most about this hotel is people. All staffs are polite, helpful, informative, and attentive.

YOU NEED TO TRY
The design of the hotel—hallways, rooms, and all—is absolutely stunning. The only thing that could rival that impression was the friendliness of the staff. Thomson truly delivers luxury lifestyle at its best. The minibar is also thoughtfully curated—offering a fine selection of spirits, wines, and of course, some Jamón and other well-chosen Spanish snacks. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. The rooftop bar is fantastic, and the hotel’s location is a real highlight: right in the heart of the city, yet tucked away on a quiet plaza. The gym is also worth mentioning—it even offers personal trainers, which I really appreciated!
