Huvafen Fushi Maldives

A truly amazing experience...........! From the greeting at the airport on arrival to help with check-in at the airport on our departure, the level of service from the resort "team members" was exceptional throughout our holiday. To name each member of staff individually would be endless but our butler in particular (Soppe) stood out. Nothing was ever too much trouble, he was proactive to ensure our stay was as pleasurable as possible and when we had a few minor issues, he dealt with each of them efficiently and professionally. The greeting on arrival and departure by some of the resort team and General Manager (Noel) was a nice touch and underlined the personal level of service they provide to all their guests. We had a deluxe beach bungalow which we would highly recommend (in our opinion better than a water bungalow in a previous stay). The inside/outside bathroom was fantastic as were the 2 private pools. The standard of accommodation and cleanliness was first class (thanks to Ramirez for keeping it clean and tidy!). The breakfast at Celsius was really good and the quality of food at dinner never disappointed. Service could occasionally be a little disorganised, but the staff did their very best to correct things. We ate at Salt a couple of times and the food was exceptional. Our package also included a candlelit dinner, 1 hour spa treatment, afternoon tea and a sunset cruise, all of which were excellent. Our butler was unable to accompany us on the sunset cruise, but the stand-in (Anas) was a pleasure to be with. Overall, we can't fault it one little bit and we will definitely return in a year or two.

We took ages pouring over where to stay for our honeymoon. So grateful we decided on Huvafen Fushi! We are fortunate to travel to some nice places but HF was another level. From the minute you land until the minute you leave the airport the HF team make you feel special. We have never experienced anything like it! Cannot recommend this beautiful little island enough. Clearly a very happy team, well looked after which ripples through to the most incredible hospitality and service. Just stunning. Cannot wait to go back!

Плюсы отеля: недалеко от Мале (на лодке 30 мин), натуральный остров, очень ухоженная зеленая территория, живой риф. Минусы отеля: очень плохая кухня, скудный завтрак, неинтересное меню. Провели пятнадцать дней в отеле, на обед и ужин одно и то же меню - выбирать нечего. Хваленый японский ресторан вообще не впечатлил, сервис и блюда на тройку. В драйв-центре хотелось бы видеть более профессиональную команду. Хорошо, что нам повезло с Батлером! Juma очень интеллигентный и тактичный, он сделал наш отдых комфортным и практически идеальным! Благодаря Juma у нас прекрасные воспоминания о наших праздниках! Спасибо ему огромное! Еще большой плюс отеля это СПА! Мы наслаждались прекрасными массажами от Dyan и Muja - эти девушки настоящие профессионалы! Объехав полмира и попробовав все возможные спа-ритуалы, можем со всей ответственностью сказать, что тераписты Dyan и Muja лучшие из лучших!!! В целом, если подтянуть качество и разнообразие кухни, то отель можно будет назвать идеальным!

Sorry for the long review but from the start to finish it's been an incredible experience and I feel like I must share this with everyone that is looking at Huvafen Fushi and thinking to book it. Airport:- We stayed over in Male and one the day of arrival we went to the Airport at the time informed to us from reservations. At the airport we were received and escorted to Huvafen Fushi lounge by Yaabe who was very professional and genuine. We didn't have to wait long at the airport. Our check-in was done by Yaabe directly at the airport lounge and our boat was ready shortly as well. Welcome at the island:- As the boat docked on to the island we were greeted with the warm welcomes and refreshing cool towel and a welcome drink as we disembarked from the speedboat. We were given a brief introduction and Vicky and Kim who were from the front of the house and introduced us to our Thakuru "Sidu" who took incredible care of us during our 5 night stay. Sidu was always available and eager to assist to make our holiday experience even better. During our stay:- As this trip was planned for me to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancee 💍). I had prior contact with Ivy from the reservation team and our Thakuru Sidu to curate the most unforgettable experience. The proposal:- We had planned to go down to the underwater spa during an evening for a viewing and whilst we were just looking at the fish and enjoying 2 divers from the dive center popped up with a sign that said "will you marry me?" That was the que for me to propose with my ring and give the incredible rose bouquet that was prepared specially for this occasion. I would like to give a special thanks to Steve and Asis from the Dive center, Sidu and Vicky from the Front of the house for going above and beyond and making this proposal unforgettable for me as well as my fiancee. The room and island:- We originally booked the lagoon water bungalow with pool, however we were given a complimentary upgrade to the ocean bungalow with pool as a gesture from the management. As we expected the room was very spacious, well maintained and clean. We had someone that cleaned the room everyday twice. Once in the morning or noon and once in the evening for turndown. The island itself was quite small. We could walk around the island in 10-15 mins on a average pace. But it was very peaceful and quite. We were told that the occupancy was around 65-70% however we rarely saw anyone besides during meal times. We went snorkeling almost everyday in the hopes of seeing some turtles. we were not very lucky until the last day where we saw a hawksbill turtle on the reef Infront of celcius restaurant. We did see some huge sharks: white tips, black tips and nurse sharks as well. Restaurant:- We had our Breakfast and dinner always at Celsius and lunch at foglianis. There were other options for lunch and dinner like Salt and Raw. However we felt that the options at Celsius and Foglianis was really good that we didn't get a chance to try salt. (We wanted to try all the dishes in celcius and Foglianis). The options were vast and each and every dish we tried was incredible. We were taken care of by different waiters on different days but Kavidu deserves a special mention. He always greets us with a huge smile on his face and has a little conversation to engage us while we wait for the food to be prepared. Never had a moment where I thought the service is not good or it's slow. Very very special mention to the chefs that prepared our meals everyday. You guys are the real MVP. The food was simply incredible specially the deserts. Would recommend everyone to try the Huvafen Banofee and chocolate fondant. End of our stay:- Although we are sad to leave, this has been one of the holidays we will never forget. Just as the name says Huvafen fushi has been a dream island. We will definitely come back. Welch ein wundervolles, privates Resort! Es war sehr stimmig! Die Villen, wir hatten eine Ocean Front Villa, die Qualität und der Service in allen Bereichen, besonders das Management. Alles top organisiert! Alles gepflegt und sauber! Auch die abendliche Atmosphäre, mit den Lampions und Fackeln am Wegesrand, waren wunderschön anzusehen, wenn wir zum Abendessen gingen. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Somaah, unserem Hausbutler, den Restaurant Top Kräften Roberto, Anja, Chantal Kavidu, Sarrey und Alim, sowie Shaaz, unserem Villa Verantwortlichen bedanken. Einziger minimaler Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, das Restaurantangebot abends um eine Lokalität zu erweitern. Last but not least: Noel als Verantwortlicher für diese Idyll.
