Set among Mayan ruins and sacred sites, Chablé Yucatán is a stunning luxury property set in Yucatán jungle. Unmatched service and the upmost attention to detail come together in this modern hotel with ancient hacienda architecture. Accommodations are spacious and charming with traditional Mayan architectural styles, premium amenities, floor to ceiling windows and natural elements that provide a restful retreat to all guests.

Peace, calm, tranquility and comfort reign at this beautiful hacienda in the Yucatan forest. From the perfectly-formed and supremely comfortable casita (each with a private pool) we explored the large property, various intimate bars, wide, shady porches, lovely pool area and various dining options on vintage bicycles, which magically appeared in front of our casita. Service is professional, yet friendly and extremely accommodating; the grounds are beautiful; the food and drink are very good. Highly recommended. A couple of things to note: - This resort is the antithesis of the Riviera Maya experience. Refined calm and quiet - Somewhat remote location, if you want to leave the property, you will need a car - Half an hour from Merida. About 2 hours from Chichen Itza

The hotel is amazing. A mixture between past and modernity, made with a lot of taste. The villas are beautifully furnished and we enjoyed ours very much. It has a nice pool, which is welcomed as it can be very hot. The hotel offers a lot of activity, the food is excellent and the chef is growing part of its vegetable on the premise. The staff was lovely and very helpful.

Chablé Yucatán is set in a remote, lush paradise. The design is stunning—architecturally striking buildings nestled in beautifully maintained grounds, where nature is allowed to flourish. It truly feels like a slice of heaven. We especially loved the vibrant wildlife—particularly the exuberant birds that provided a daily soundtrack around the main pool. However, a few things held the experience back from being exceptional: 1. Service: While warm and well-intentioned, service was inconsistent. Communication was often a challenge, as many staff members had limited English, and simple requests—like a coffee—took upwards of 15 minutes. At this level, you’d expect more seamless delivery. 2. Food: Disappointingly, we didn’t have a single memorable meal in our four-day stay. Juices felt watered down, the local oat milk had a syrupy texture, and overall, the food lacked flavor and finesse. Given that prices matched those of top-tier New York hotels, the quality simply didn’t justify the cost. 3. Pricing: Beyond food, the pricing throughout the resort felt disproportionate. A standard massage at the spa was priced at $200, and some experiences bordered on excessive—for example, $420 for a 90-minute stargazing/spiritual therapy session. 4. Villa Pools: Each villa features a private pool, but the layout is puzzling. A shallow area just a few inches deep cuts into the swimming space, making it impractical for laps or a proper swim. The design prioritizes aesthetics over usability. Overall a beautiful property that is too flawed for a return trip.
