Dusit Thani Maldives

This is our 2nd visit to Dusit Thani Maldives. We first visited in 2017 and it has maintained the number 1 spot after all these years as the best resort in the world that we have ever visited. Every single staff member absolutely blew us away! We can’t wait to return for a third time! Special shoutout to our beyond incredible butler Naan, the entire staff at Benjarong (best Thai restaurant outside of Thailand), The Sea Grill, Sand Bar and Market staff and our housekeeping attendant Mohammed. Also the GM Jean-Louis and the manager Olivier went above and beyond in greeting us and making us feel so welcome. Our overwater pool villa was the epitome of luxury and the staff is so friendly, kind, professional and they anticipate your every need. Look no further than Dusit Thani when selecting a resort in the Maldives.

It was a privilege to have been able to come to dusit thani maldives. Nothing could have prepared us for the level of hospitality, luxury and the amazing beverages and food that we got to experience at dusit thani. The torquise waters and the tranquility of the resort was in tune with each other and created an amazing atmosphere in the resort. The home reef surrounding the resort is home to many colourful corals and all sorts of exotic creatures and I felt extremely lucky to have had the privilege to see such wonders, it is an absolute must that one should go Snorkeling at dusit thani. We had amazingly delicious meals prepared for us at the sea grill restaurant and view overlooking the ocean and the scrumptious food complemented each other in a way that accentuated both the food and the scenery. The fetta cheese and water melon platter was one of the best starters I've ever had in my whole life. A very close second was the vagyu beef that was made for us. We want to thank the sea grill service team. Rabeaue, sappy,husam, slyp and supun for serving us and actively suggesting the best beverages and food available, it was a service which I would not forget anytime soon and they truly made us feel at home. We want thank raveesha for hosting us as well, she was very warm and friendly which made us feel like we were back at home in Srilanka. Sea grill kitchen made such scrumptious meals and we wish we could have had another bite, but sadly we couldn't eat any more. We want to thank pathum for taking the time to curate personalised meals for ourselves. The meals at sea grill would not be as spectacular if not for chef upal, chef karan, chef kuswanda and chef pornthep. The sand bar is an amazing place to be with live music overlooking the torquise waters with the pool next to it. We had couple of cocktails and mocktails, all of them were very good. We really liked the mango and lychee buble tea. The sand bar team made us feel right at home and they were very keen to help us with what we drink we could wish to have by the poolside. Sarath, amila, thushara and bawantha gave us an exceptional service at the sand bar. We had an authentic Thai experience at the benjarong,With nok hosting us and recommending the must have dishes at the restaurant, I must say that it was truly an amazing experience. We tried lots of Thai dishes and all of them were delicious. We can't wait to have the Tom yum gum soup again. It was so full of flavours and much unlike anything I've ever had. The pandan chicken was truly a unique experience, it was my first time trying and it was so full of flavour. The pad Thai noodles was very well complemented by the cashew chicken which was my favourite dish of the evening. We were almost full at that moment but who could say know to such excellently made desserts. We had mango sticky rice and frozen raspberry with coconut milk. We want to especially thank the restaurant manager rung apa, chef sunai for the amazing food and service.The sala bar we had a homemade cocktail for which the bar staff had taken the extra effort to infuse the ingredients with amazing flavours. The gin was infused in the said manner. It was a pleasure to have been able to taste the amazing flavours at Sala bar. We want to thank amila especially for taking he time to make these cocktails for us. Chef dimuth at the sala bar made us amazing dishes to go along with the cocktails. The sushi was out of this world and I must say That it was the best sushi I've ever had. We had the buffet at the market restaurant a few times.Sanjitha made us pancakes in the shape of a manta and a shark. Chef prakash made sure we had all the best dishes and I want to thank him for making it a memorable experience for us. We want to mention food and beverages asst manager priyantha for planning such amazing platters and foods that complement each other. We wouldn't have such an amazing treat if not for abbas who graciously assigned us amazing accommodation. The villa was amazing with a private pool and stairs that lead down to the torquise waters. The room was exquisite and luxurious. We want to thank our butler saleem. He made sure that we didn't miss any of the attractions and helped us set up the reservations for the restaurants. He also helped us to find the Snorkeling equipment and also made sure that we had our flights sorted. Last but not least we want to thank chef Sameera for inviting us to the resort. If not for him we would have missed out on an amazing experience, amazing dishes and amazing cocktails. Thank you for everything we are incredibly grateful for the efforts you put in for us during our stay. Without you our days wouldnt have been as colourful. Great couples retreat. Excellent food and staff. Love the island and the facilities. Travelling around by bicycle makes it ideal and fun. Lots of marine life. The place is gorgeous. just make sure you pick non rainy days. Love the Thai cruisine, so authentic and delicous.

An amazing vocation in Dusti Thai！！！Snorkelling was amazing here，daily seeing various beautiful fishes, coral reef and turtles. The food in the market and the seegrill is good. Thanks to the arrangement and services of our butler Levy Wang and other staffs，we really enjoy the time here！
