Reviews for Grand Hyatt Baha Mar
Overpriced hotel with poor service.
This hotel continues to go downhill. They raise the prices, including Hyatt point redemptions, and decrease the service consistently. Staff have no concern or compassion and are generally unhelpful and have no pride in their work. There is no ownership for guest services and no follow through. This hotel is not worthy of being a Hyatt Cat.7

Wonderful Property and staff!
I visit this hotel regularly for business, and Erick Aredondo always goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. He’s professional, accommodating, and genuinely kind. His excellent service is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Must reserve pool chairs!!
Bahamar We stayed here with a group of 19 adults and children. The resort is very large so be prepared to do a lot of walking. The kids loved the water park but it was quite a hike from the main building. Not a problem for the kids though! If you want to eat on property make reservations as soon as you book the resort. Also, reserve your chairs and cabana right away. We took a taxi several times to Atlantis. The fare, plus tip, was $40 one way. The casino was very nice because it was no smoking and it was enforced! Some of our group took a boat tour and they had a great time. However, there was no where at the hotel to quickly pick up a sandwich to take in the trip, so plan ahead! The room was cleaned daily and the housekeepers were nice.

Things Changed to the worse!
This hotel changed alot. I have been there several times before and the service has greatly suffered. It no longer is a premium spot that caters to people. There is a mentality of herding cattle now. I do not recommend a return until management fixes this management changes.

If you like Vegas and you have kids, this is a great place for you.
Generally poor service you have to seek out often and found too few to be friendly, not enough free chairs by pools for hotel guests (but you can pay to reserve them!), unreliable wifi (which matters when you need to be managing reservations to get desired experiences), overwhelming premises (took days to get familiar with what was where, and not enough clear maps/signs). Food was phenomenal at Carna, Cleo and Marcus. Also enjoyed Cafe Madeleine and Pizza Lab. Water park was a blast. Still salty we couldn't get a reservation at 25N and the beach club, despite having emailed a month in advance and several times during our stay in attempts.
