Fairmont Mayakoba

Beautiful resort, wonderful service and gorgeous beach! We will come back in the near future! Food was delicious. I wish there was not as much seaweed, but the hotel staff works constantly to remove it from the beach. Not much more they can do about it…Mother Nature!

The resort is a large and wonderful nature reserve. Our favorite part was the boat ride with captain Miguel. He was informative and funny, we highly recommend this. We stayed in room 722 which had a beautiful view of the jungle,.sadly construction was going on right outside of our room so we had to listen to that every morning when we had breakfast. Perhaps they shouldn't use the lefthand side of the 700's with that going on.

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtful and top-tier. The property itself is stunning—set within a lush mangrove forest with tranquil waterways and white-sand beaches that feel secluded and serene. The service was flawless. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. The beach team—Ricardo, Humberto, Oasis, Edy, Gilberth, Erick, Filiberto, José, Hugo, and Héctor—was outstanding. The food was consistently excellent, from the beachside tacos to the elegant steak dinners. Be sure to ask for Heber—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really sets this resort apart is the balance of luxury and nature. Our butlers, Augustin and Vanessa, made every detail that much better. You can ride bikes through shaded paths, take a boat tour through the canals, or relax with a cocktail by the beach. It’s peaceful, restorative, and incredibly beautiful. Whether you’re coming to unwind, explore, or just be pampered, Fairmont Mayakoba delivers on every level.

Just returned from a four night stay in beautiful Mayakoba Mexico. This was probably one of the best resorts in Mexico that I have stayed at. The service, the rooms, the resort, and the amenities were all amazing! This was a girls trip and we all booked the flight and hotel package through Expedia - was a great deal. We did not do the all inclusive option but our booking included the buffet breakfast which had everything we needed. We weren’t aware that we had butler service included with our reservation. Javier and Ali were the assigned butlers for our 2 rooms. They were so helpful and responsive! They helped familiarize us with the property and amenities, adjusted our dinner reservations, arrange transportation, booked activities, and were always available to answer our questions. The resort is simply beautiful! It was built is 2006 but underwent a complete 3-year long renovation just a few years ago. Everything looks brand new. The beach club with the beach side pools are a highlight. Alberto led the mixology class at Cielo rooftop - a great bar tender and a fun teacher! We enjoyed our tasty creations from the roof top with the ocean breeze - just perfect. The class was included for no additional cost. All the included activities were great - we biked the nature trail, we did hat painting, catamaran’s on the beach, a visit to the butterfly sanctuary, and a guided cenote visit. The morning Eco tour with bird watching was a highlight - not to be missed! Our boat captain, Miguel, was funny (which we needed to wake up at 7:30am) and also very knowledgeable about the local wildlife! It is the most popular activity there, so make sure to reserve it as soon as you can. Overall, it was an amazing stay at Fairmont Mayakoba! We are already planning a reunion trip there! :)

Had the best time and experience at Fairmont Mayakoba. Ali and Javier assisted during my whole stay and they were amazing. Anything we needed, they were immediately on top of it. Very friendly, nice and extremely helpful! They assisted from reservations to late check out and everything in between. Highly recommend.
