Just came back from Hyatt Centric downtown house with my husband and 7 year old son. I was a little hesitant to book this place due to some of the mixed reviews but we loved it! I was not certain if it was adults only or not but it is family friendly - I think maybe it had been adults only in the past. You really are in the heart of Playa and close to everything. We absolutely loved the vibes of the rooftop pool and the beach views. There were DJs all day every day and the music was amazing if you like house/dance/electronic etc. And the pool had shallow areas which is perfect for kids. However if you are looking for quiet relaxation, this is probably not the place for you and you might enjoy Beach House better. The music here is loud all day every day and there are parties at night. Plus the hotel is right above nightclubs on 5th and they play loud bumping music until 3-4am. It didn't bother us terribly and we were able to sleep. But if you are a light sleeper you might not prefer it. The room itself was a nice size and well appointed, no complaints there. This place would probably not be everyone's cup of tea but if you are a young couple or family and/or want a lively atmosphere with Ibiza party vibes then you will love it. We had a great time and would definitely come back. P.S. If you have never been to Playa just a heads up the beach there is just so-so. If you want pristine white sand beach, take the ferry to Cozumel. Its a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

El hotel esta en una ubicación privilegiada en la 5ta avenida, muy cerca de bares/antros y de la central de autobuses (alterna). Si no estas acostumbrado a tener mucho ruido para dormir, entonces este hotel no es para ti. Se escucha todo el movimiento nocturno de abajo, las ventanas necesitan mas aislamiento. Pero la recamara es muy cómoda, amplia y espaciosa. Lo unico que no nos gusto es que tienen un hotel hermano en la playa, y estuvimos ahí un día para disfrutar de los camastros y una bebida, pero ningún mesero se acercó a atendernos. Nos fuimos una hora después porque nadie nos ofreció nada. Fuera de ese incidente es un muy buen hotel, sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar aquí. Pero en el de la 5ta avenida, el hotel hermano de la playa realmente necesita mantenimiento (adjunto fotos).
