The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos

While the location and the beach are great I can’t say much about the rest of the hotel. I have stayed at many Ritz Carlton‘s and this seems more like a Marriott than a Ritz. The service is extremely slow and not very friendly. Very limited food choices and what they do have is not great by any means. The hotel even though three years old seems like you’re in South Beach versus the Caribbean and very sterile. The casino is tiny and many of the machines don’t even work and the two boutiques they have on the site have nothing in them and our extremely small. The adult pool area has very limited seating and again extremely slow service just like the beach. At $1500 a night and with high food and drink prices, I would expect an upgraded experience and all I’m getting is a Marriott experience. Not worth the money.

The hotel is new, and located in a great location, on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms and property are beautiful, modern & clean. It is close to many shops, restaurants & a grocery store. The staff at the hotel was great. At the front desk Brandy & Jenekia were awesome! Super friendly, welcoming & accommodating. Always greeted you with a smile. The rest of the lobby & bellman staff were also very friendly and ready to assist. The food at all of the restaurants was very good; Coralli, Casa Nonna and BLT. All of the staff/waiters/waitresses at the restaurants were very friendly (especially at BLT & Casa Nonna). Beach service is convenient & I loved having it available at the hotel, unfortunately the beach service was just OK. The staff was less than friendly (with a few exceptions), especially in comparison to everyone else at the hotel. This was a bit disappointing, especially for a luxury property like the Ritz. We did enjoy the little extras at the beach (watermelon slices, mini fruit punch & mini iced cappuccino) that were being passed around. And Calvin, at the pool was great. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel. The beach is amazing. The food is delicious. And the staff was great. Would definitely come back!

This place is a dream. Every single aspect of this property is a 10/10 for me. The staff and service are unparalleled. The food is delicious. The stretch of beach the resort is on is beautiful and you have everything you could possibly need at your fingertips.

I cannot recommend highly enough the folks who work at this hotel. They were very accommodating and flexible as my wife and I handled a death in the family. I cannot speak to the venue, but for the staff, I would give them ten stars if I could! Anyone going here should expect a great experience.

What a lovely place this is! The beautifully manicured grounds, the powdery sand beaches, the turquoise Caribbean waters- all contribute to a sense of tranquility and luxury. Our room is spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony facing the ocean view. The best thing about the Ritz is the amazing staff. They are very kind and accommodating, aware of guests’ needs and willing to do all they can to provide them with a wonderful stay.
