We stayed at the Conrad for a business trip and have only great things to say! The hotel is relatively new, clean, and gorgeous. We upgraded to a suite which was so spacious, and the food and service were meticulous through our stay. We did one activity at the hotel - a tequila tasting - that was a special highlight. Our guide, Hector, shared with us more about the history and process of making tequila and mezcal, while also giving us tasting recommendations. The tasting covered 6 options and was accompanied by three small appetizers each (where they did a great job remembering my allergies). Hector was super fun and informative throughout, and we all felt we learned a lot and had a great time! Hector saw my husband and I the next day at another hotel restaurant, Mezquite, remembered our favorites from the day before, and we enjoyed them with our lunch then too. Shout out to Hector! I could go on for a while - the supervisors at Mezquite and Codex both checked on tables throughout and were very gracious. The food at Codex was unique and tasty (the group especially liked the shrimp stuffed chile and the crispy pork). The front desk, reservation, and concierge staff were available and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel got us a car to go off site (and helped my husband track down his phone when he left it in the ride). The game room was fun and had working equipment (ping pong, shuffleboard, etc.). We really had a great time!

The staff is so friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to make you feel special. In particular Christian and Hector. Both gentlemen took extra special care of my husband and I while visiting for a corporate event . If you go there tell them the Tatums say hello.

We originally booked the St Regis but changed to Conrad when we heard that Regis had very rocky beach…so glad we did! Pro’s: - beautiful resort that borders a nature preserve and is on gorgeous long sandy rock-free beach with fantastic waiter service with food and drinks - service here was a 10 out of 10….friendly, attentive, professional, fantastic and in all areas of resort - beachfront premier suite was a great size for the two of us and right on the ocean…mini frig filled with beer, sodas and water daily, daily afternoon snack delivered, butler (Danielle was outstanding!), $250 resort credit, open use of spa facilities, daily complimentary cocktails in lobby bar 5-6p, half priced cabanas, daily buffet breakfast included, welcome bottle of tequila - cabanas were beautiful and very well serviced by staff..include 6 waters/sodas, fruit plate and welcome cocktails - you feel like you are on your own in the jungle at this resort with all your best friends - kids slide pool is far from other pools and beach so we couldn’t hear them and there weren’t many kids Con’s: - the food quality and presentation were great but a few things: did not like menu at beach Mesquite restaurant, Arbol was beautiful but we had breakfast there every day (fantastic breakfast buffet), the fine dining Codex was gorgeous and would go back just for the jungle bridges with torches and vibes…but overall I would not rave about the food. It was good but not “wow”. We ended up eating mostly the delicious tacos from the pool restaurant Paleta. Tips: - Agave Tasting in hotel was fantastic! - book the s’mores on beach just so you can have a private bonfire on beach at sunset..magic - have fun watching the falconer keep track of his falcon - go to Sayulita while here…8 mile drive to a quirky surfer artists village with cool architecture and stone streets. Go to Dom Pedro’s on beach for drinks then dinner at the magical Si Senor…gorgeous. And there are some fantastic boutiques here for very cool shopping. - go to Lobster Paradise in Punta Mita village for dinner

The highlight of our trip to the Conrad was the most amazing person that tended to us on the beach. Her name is Cynthia (in front of Casa 3); she made the trip for me and my entire family of 18. She was super courteous, warm, very helpful and someone my grandchildren were happy to be around. The hotel had some shortcomings (poor shower pressure, lumpy pillows), but the staff were amazing and more than made up for some physical shortcomings.

Discriminatory Treatment and Dismissive Management – A Cautionary Tale I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience. My wife and I were subjected to demeaning and discriminatory treatment by hotel staff during our stay. Staff questioned if we were “together” in a way that felt targeted and offensive, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing visit. When I formally complained, hoping for professionalism and resolution, the hotel escalated the matter to their legal department. Shockingly, their legal counsel outright defended the staff’s behavior, refused to share any anti-discrimination policies, and coldly “closed” the matter without offering any resolution or apology beyond a token statement. As frequent travelers, we’ve never experienced such poor handling of a serious issue. If you care about respectful treatment and professional customer service, I strongly recommend you stay elsewhere. For transparency, I am filing complaints with Mexico’s anti-discrimination and consumer protection agencies to ensure accountability.
