During your stay, you and your loved one may find yourselves completely alone on a long stretch of powder-soft white sand beach. The resort is immense, featuring villas and suites tucked amongst natural greenery and dotted above the Indian Ocean, 12 award-winning restaurants and bars (indluing one partially underwater), and an impressing wine cellar dining room

We spent a week at this place during our honeymoon, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. The food was absolutely outstanding. I want to specifically mention Shark and his staff. They were amazing and took the time to explain all the different wines and courses. They made many of our dinners special. Masyh was also fantastic. He made all our reservations and changes and was always there to answer any questions and ensure that we were taken care of.

Beyond beautiful in so many ways. Staff were incredible and incredibly friendly. Kids always welcomed and looked after well in the kids club when they wanted to go. Amazing expeditions and the level of effort the staff went to was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s ruined holidays for us as nothing can possibly compare! Thank you to the amazing team for making it such a magical holiday.

We are a family of four (2x sons aged 12 and 13) and I have to say we hit gold with this resort. When you’re planning to travel to the Maldives with kids, it’s really hard to find accommodation to suit (as they’re considered adults, so sofa beds aren’t an option anymore!), with a nod towards some sort of teens activities whilst ensuring it has what the adults are looking for too. Conrad literally ticked all the boxes. A barefoot paradise with something on offer for everyone. We had a two bed beach villa (with plunge pool) straight onto the house reef. It was gorgeous and a huge thank you again to Mohammed for making up our rooms so beautifully! Snorkelling is a must and the house reef was amazing. Yes, on first glance it looks like it’s dead but look closely - there was a huge abundance of life with glorious flourishes of colour. Big signs of positivity in a changing world plus they have an active coral growing programme of which you can be part of. We saw so many different varieties of fish and sharks on a daily basis, plus a turtle! The resort consists of 3 islands - one more family focussed, one more adult focussed and one for staff. The whole resort felt spacious, relaxed and subtlely designed allowing for privacy at every opportunity, if you wanted it. Between the two main islands (for guests) there was a bridge which was softly down-lit at night. TOP TIP: head there after 10pm and wait for the manta rays to come and feed under the lights! We saw at least one almost every night. It was a beautiful sight to see. The restaurants were fantastic, with only a couple being adult only so not suitable for us. We did have a tour of the underwater restaurant which was a novelty in itself! It’s only small but if you are without kids it would be a meal you would never forget. We stayed half board which allowed us to breakfast on either island and have an evening meal in one of the 5 family friendly restaurants. Drinks are expensive as is the food, if you wish to have lunch, BUT having just spent 6 nights in Dubai beforehand, there was little or no difference, so it is what it is. You just have to accept that. Excursions - we actually signed up for 3 during our 8 night stay. The Sunset Fishing Trip was brilliant. We were lucky enough to meet 2 other families on that trip with kids of a similar age and the banter and giggling on the boat was hilarious. We all caught a variety of fish with our hand reels and hooks and agreed for the chef to cook them the next day for lunch and all ate together. Would highly recommend. We also went on the Snorkelling with Manta Rays trip and the Whale shark trip. The Manta Ray experience was unbelievable - such graceful creatures and we got to snorkel with 4/5. Absolutely fascinating and humbling. The whale shark trip was less successful sadly, which was unfortunate as previous trips that week had seen 2 or 3! We sadly saw none but as painful as it is to pay for the trip regardless of success, we did get to snorkel off a beautiful reef as a consolation prize! Particular shout out to Ainura, our concierge, for looking after us so well. She was absolutely brilliant at pre-booking our dinner reservations before we had arrived, tweaking them where necessary and dealing with all enquiries. A credit to the resort, so thank you again. If you’re considering the Maldives and have a family, I would seriously consider this resort. There is a kids and a teens club - which isn’t big, is almost combined but has enough in it and going on to satisfy everyone - even if it’s to escape the heat of the midday sun for an hour.
