Un service pas à la hauteur. À éviter Bad service. To be avoided ALAIN LATAPY 04/05/2025 at 01:59 Delighted to be able to enjoy the rooftop, we made reservations for the evening of May 1st in the morning. On site, near the rooftop bar, a young woman took our name and phone number for that same evening at 7:00 p.m. Excited, we canceled our reservation at a very popular restaurant to enjoy this experience. 7:00 p.m. arrives and we arrive at the hotel where the doorman practically refuses us entry and prevents us from going up. After our insistence, we go upstairs and arrive at the same bar where a manager, this time, greets us coldly. He checks the same tablet and dismisses us like nobody's business because there is no reservation in our name. Seeing our dissatisfaction, he offers us a table inside where it is warm and, of course, not at all the same experience. We go downstairs very frustrated by such dismissive treatment. Downstairs, we find the lobby bar manager, as friendly as in the morning. Faced with our story and the poor treatment we received, he offers us an aperitif. The evening is ruined, however, by a company independent of the hotel that manages the terrace. The service is haughty and worthy of a low-end hotel. A highly recommended place by media to be avoided completely.

I wish I had spent more time at this hotel to give it a better review. I had only 24 hours and I picked this hotel for its location. I wanted to be bright and early by the Pantheon to avoid the long lines. The hotel is across from the Pantheon on a narrow street. The doorman was not very helpful with luggage, and the receptionist took forever to check us in. The room was clean and bigger than I expected. The roof top was very nice however due to covid, service was limited. I will go back and stay here longer to get a better feel.

The reservation staff, consierge, and front desk gals went above and beyond in helping our group of 10! From transfers from the cruise port, to restaurant suggestions and reservations, to directions, reliable transfers to airport, and any other request - they went out of their way to make our stay perfect! They were very mindful of cleaning and safety measures. Rooms are great, rooftop area is so wonderful, and the breakfast is plentiful. Perhaps the best is the location; steps from the Pantheon made walking to Piazza Navona, Vatican, Trevi, and even the Colosseum do-able. There is so much to see in that area and so many great places to eat...........we wouldn't stay anywhere else! 10+

While making a reservation on line we mistakenly prepaid for three nights for our honeymoon in October after arriving from a cruise. When we came down with COVID we had to cancel our trip. We immediately contacted the hotel and explained our health situation being in our 70's and 80's. They refused to give us a refund but said we could change the name on our reservation!! At the time the EU was recommending the EU countries not admit Americans due to COVID. Now just a few weeks later on October 26 we have rebooked our cruise and contacted the hotel to say we will come in April for five nights and would like to use the $1500 as a partial payment for our stay. NOW they say that they are closing Dec. 1 for "refurbishment" and we have lost our money! Not offered even a partial refund as Good Faith and I'll bet they rented that room again for the three nights we paid for. Shame, Shame on them. A Monsignor with the Catholic church recommended the hotel to us and he is mortified.

Just love the rooftop bar, but can't wait for the rooftop restaurant to reopen! The views are spectacular: You just simply hover above the Pantheon's dome and realize how magnificently and cleverly built it was, with its concentric rings getting smaller and lighter! What an amazing architectural feat! Having drinks on the terrace with its fabulous views is usually a treat, except that the pigeons are getting too bold and annoying and you have to keep chasing them away!
