The Gyp Sea Villas - a wonderful experience!
Gyp Sea Villas - Outstanding. Impeccable service. Our Gyp Sea personal assistant, Loic, anticipated everything to make a perfect family experience. Lunch on the beach for our large party was perfect as well - classic French service, wonderful food , very good wine list - definitely a destination place for lunch. Stellar options for evening dining within walking distance. And for the grandchildren - tortoises and iguanas roaming the property. Housekeeping also needs credit. A proviso it that one needs to specify Villas vs hotel for car rental etc because the locations are 15 minutes apart. 10/10 rating!

OBSESSED! We loved the Bohemian Blue villa on the water. Absolute perfection. The breakfast is absolutely dreamy. I met the owner who was just lovely. So loved having them coordinate the logistics over WhatsApp. Completely seamless. The whole thing was lovely. I will be back !

Now one of my favorite hotels on st Barths. The beach villas are the best and service was on point. I think it’s the best beach on st Barths and everything was super close. Even though you don’t need to leave. Loic made everything easy and possible

Gyp Sea Hotel was a mixed experience
Gyp Sea Hotel – Breakfast Review The breakfast at Gyp Sea Hotel was a mixed experience. The food itself was solid, earning a 4/5, and the ambiance was a standout—its West Indies-inspired décor set it apart from other hotels on the island in a refreshing way. However, the service was 2/5, though not due to the two hardworking gentlemen running the restaurant. They were doing everything—bussing tables, taking payments, serving dishes—which made the experience feel understaffed rather than a reflection of their effort. A busboy or host to assist would have made a big difference in efficiency. Unfortunately, the long wait times (10-15 minutes for a second coffee) make it unlikely that I’ll return for breakfast. If the hotel improves its staffing, it could be a much better experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Gyp Sea. Everyone, from drivers, to restaurant staff was exquisite.
Thank you to all the staff at Gyp Sea who made our stay during our 25th anniversary trip absolutely magical. The attentive staff made sure every single detail was taken care of each and every moment. We will yearn to return to this enchanted and secluded heaven on earth soon!

We recently enjoyed 6 nights and 7 days in St. Bart's as guests of the Francois Plantation. While St. Bart's is a fantastic French West Indies island, the best part of the trip was the Francois Plantation itself--beautiful rooms with private terraces and luxury bathrooms. Perfect, discrete staff and quiet surroundings with easy access to the beaches and small towns. The restaurant is beautiful, open to an orchid tree with hummingbirds for morning breakfasts and offering a new sophisticated menu for dinner. What a treat. Everything promised was truly delivered.
