Hotel Maria Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Sebastian

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Maria Christina for 3 nights. The impressive architecture and deep history are impressive. The entire staff is professional and friendly. The property is a well oiled machine from housekeeping, valets, to management. We were upgraded to a river suite which was spectacular. We took a walking tour with Kai arranged through the hotel. We had a Pintxo walking tour and a walking tour around the area. We even rode on the 90 year old roller coaster at the amusement park on the hilltop. We had a great time in San Sebastián The staff at Maria Christina were wonderful.

はじめ、一人旅の予定だったので、滞在型にして7日間宿泊した。途中で半分友人が参加。個人ガイドさん（バスクディスカバリーの社長沼山香織さん）と食事や買い物、一日フレンチバスクツアー、タラソを堪能した。 部屋はリバービューで広さも満足。皇后さまの別荘だったので上品で華麗、美しい内装。スチームアイロンが強力で満足。アメニティの化粧品等が何もなかったのが残念。TVもネットフリックスなど見れない旧式。外国のホテルにはパジャマは無いのが普通なので注意。珍しくセーフティボックスが故障していて治らないので交換してもらった。ちゃんと滞在時にセキュリティとスタッフが現れてきちんとしていた。 サンセバスチャン自体が危ない街ではないが、ちゃんとロビーにセキュリティが目を光らせて安心感があった。 風邪をひいて一日外出しなかったら、翌日フロントに電話するとおかげんいかがとの伺いがあり、ちゃんと把握している。スタッフもフレンドリーでホスピタリティは素晴らしい。 レストラン：朝食　朝シャンパン（カバ）も勿論あり、ビュッフェと別にスモールプレートをオーダーできる。美しい部屋、サービスも文句なし。 ザ　ギャラリー：美しい廊下に設置されたバスク料理、少量オーダー可能で、フランが絶品。リゾットも美味しかった。 サイゴンカフェ：７日もいると西洋料理に飽きたので、パッタイと北京ダックをランチで利用。とても美味しかった。美しいインテリア。すいているし、使い勝手が良い。 バー：廊下にも席があり、開放的で利用しやすかった。 グルメショップ：スーパーとそんなに変わらない価格で品ぞろえが良い。お土産にチョコをいろんな種類購入。全部美味しい！スペインのチョコがこんなに美味しいとは知らなかった。オリーブオイルもイタリア物より好きかも。もっといろいろ買えば良かったと後悔。 スパは無いがかわりに紹介しているラペルラというタラソが男女ともに楽しめる。 ２４時間ジムもある。シューズレンタルは無し。 場所：旧市街と新市街の間にあるのでどちらに行くにも便利。 結論；ピンチョスバー巡りはシェフが変わったり、はやりすたりがあるのでガイドさんの案内が必要かと思った。 札幌と緯度が同じで気温も似たり寄ったり、雨が多く風邪をひいてしまった。 スペインは暑そうという期待は外れるので服装の調整が必要。 本当にグルメレベルの高い街だった。特にチョコレートが美味しい！ ミシュラン三ツ星ARZAKも大変気に入った。ランチ時、娘さんや女性スタッフの気配りに大満足。三ツ星レストランで一番好きかも。

Best customer service, and a beautiful luxury hotel. Hotel manager, and associates were polite, friendly, and professional. The hotel is located close to the beach and lots of fun delicious restaurants. Airport is 30 minutes from the hotel. Also, Biarritz, France, is close to the airport.

The hotel is fabulous. Old world elegance. Very luxurious. Great location. The ladies at reception and concierge are super. They are so friendly and helpful. My one year old daughter adored them. Special shout out to Patricia and Zaki. Thanks for making our stay so great. We will be back!

Class. Lovely service. Impressive facilities. Carlos from Food and Beverage manager, along with Belkys, Mandeep and Carolina (front desk) - all stand out employees. If you have special requests or questions do not hesitate to ask. They will fall over themselves to make you happy. Gorgeous hotel. Most convenient. Lovely old world service and style. Great Bonvoy recognition and treats. Amazing rooms with all the best touches. Turn down service, bottled waters and chocolate bedside. One of our favorite hotels ever. Watch out Alfonso XIII. Take the trip - stay here. You will feel like royalty. Highlight of our trip! Definitely returning. Please change nothing!!
