Andaz Bali

My husband and I had a 4 night stay at the Andaz in a Lagoon Access room last September. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, beautiful gardens and right on the ocean although the public pathway does go right in front of the hotel (as it does everywhere in the area). Gardens are lush and beautifully maintained. The room was excellent, so clean and housekeeping did a fantastic job, no issues whatsoever. The daily complimentary mini bar was so appreciated. Our room was on the side where there was an ocean view and a view of the main pool with access to our own pool lagoon area (shared with the other rooms around us). There is also access to the main pool - however we did end up hearing a lot of noise from the main pool. The daily breakfast is innovative and surely one of the best hotel breakfasts in Bali. Unfortunately the dishes are so unique I could see other guests getting confused, complaining and just want to be served bacon eggs and toast. The breakfast means you can order much as you like from the menu, dishes are on the smaller side, but means you get to try many things throughout your stay. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the village square one day and the food was fantastic. The main pool gets a lot of sun, the only concerns are the loungers face the ocean rather than the pool (a good view) and are set into the sand which means a lot of sand gets tracked into the pool itself and most people haul themselves over the pool wall to get into it. Staff are very good at clearing loungers that are not in use and we never had trouble getting a seat. There are a lot of guests here with children, who just invade the entire main pool area and scream all day long, instead of taking their kids to the kids pool - this was a source of frustration for us who wanted some quiet time - there wasnt anywhere to get away from this. The hotel does seem to cater for families, rather than couples - keep this in mind if you stay here as a couple and are looking for a quiet stay - not the place.

We had our daughter’s wedding at Andaz. From the moment we arrived, and were greeted by Gita and Andaz team, we felt like we were at home. Me, my family and our guests had a fantastic experience with our stay. The room was immaculate, and so well laid out, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can feel the warmth of Bali where you just feel you never want to leave. We particularly appreciate the ala carte breakfast, ordering from menu, so much more relaxing and enjoyable than the typical breakfast buffet. Service in all of their restaurants was first class. Everyone was so helpful with the wedding. Many of the wedding attendees commented it was the most special wedding they have attended. I must say I highly recommend Andaz, not only to friends and family, but to everyone as well. I would like to especially thank Mark,hotel general manager. All guests of the Andaz Bali can truly look forward to a vip experience.-

The Andaz experience is absolutely amazing. This is my third time staying here, and each time it just keeps getting better. Breakfast is a must-have, offering a huge variety of delicious options and fresh juices. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with every amenity, and well-designed spaces. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is to much trouble.

Everything about this experience was amazing. From the staff to the room, the amenities and food we got to eat: it all was incredible. Hope to return here soon for whatever reason. Sanur is a nice and relatively quiet part of Bali which helps, and there are also plenty of spots to visit either within walking distance or a short drive away.

Excellent stay with my wife and our 2 year old. The service was fantastic always with a smile and very accommodating which is great with a toddler! Breakfast was the best of any hotel ever, very high quality, lots to choose from and as much as you want, also great service team for breakfast (thanks Benjamin, you and your team were amazing!). This is our second time in Sanur with our baby, and Andaz is definitely the most central location you can get and it’s worth being central (walking far in the humidity is tough). The rooms were so big, which is great as you have a little room for all your luggage, plenty of room for a cot, and even more room to move around and for the little one to play. The room and resort and gardens are all stunning, everything feels very premium. There is a wading pool up to our toddler belly/chest or so that was perfect for her to play in while we laid in the water too, and the infinity pool is also great. There is a private beach area too which is very handy. There is a great kids club too that is 2 hours free per day, kids under 4 have to have their parents present, but kids over 4 can be dropped for care, there are multiple people supervising in a space that has so much for them to do, and they also do hourly activities that are on a posted schedule. There isn’t anything more a family with young kids could want in a hotel!
